Yes, I've noticed too that Wes uses the same font in every movie. Darjeeling is no exception. To me, the font has a rather primitive look to it, as though the movie was made yesteryear. Maybe that's what Wes wants? Because there are no flourishes or seraphs (spelling?) it's easy to read. But I think slightly thinner letters would be easier to read than those big fat ones. Just my personal opinion though. Font choices are very subjective - like art.
Speaking of art, interesting about Eric's work. I've never seen his work all in one collection like that. Thanks for posting it.
Yeah, I post pretty random stuff too when I'm bored. In fact, sometimes it's downright nonsensical. ;D

Oooh ooh ooh, there was a big discussion over at the Yankee Racers about whether there was a subtle shift in the Darjeeling Limited (because the letters actually have some transparent rectangle shapes within them) and a poster known as "stretch" said that he thinks it might be Blue Highway bold, which he looked for and found on www.dafont.com and then they cited another forum dedicated to fonts (anyone remember in Shopgirl, the discussion of fonts? hee hee.) Here's the link to that discussion, www.typophile.com/node/35307Whatever it is, I'd love it if they renamed it Darjeeling!

Hmmm.... I hadn't noticed a difference in the Darjeeling fonts. Guess I'll just have to see Darjeeling again, hee hee. Oh, like that's going to be a chore!
Good name for the font - especially if it's a customized Wes one!
