Chevy, too bad you didn't see any sign of Luke but maybe you'll have other chances. I hope so.
A flight between Los Angeles and Phoenix can't be more than a couple of hrs, yes? Certainly not more than 3 hours. It's possible Luke could be in both cities within a few hours time. He might have left Phoenix and gone home for the weekend?

Tex, it's actually only an hour flight, so he could very well be in both cities on the same day.

Ooooohh Fun Fun!! How come I don't get invites to stuff like that??? Note the 6 degrees of separation here....one of my clients was the general contractor on that project! It's a VERY cool piece of property and cost millions to build! Wonder if he's staying there? I spent the last two days at a seminar in one of the nice resorts in Scottsdale (not far from W)...I pretty much rubber necked at everybody there. Not AT the seminar though...lots of pocket protector wearing accountants. Weekend is over....ya think Meg went back home?

No doubt that the supermodel date mentioned in the article was Meg. I bet she's becoming totally accustomed to attending events like this one. Like I keep saying, how does she manage to go back to her job as an attorney after seeing the life he leads? Oh well, life's tough for some people.

caroline, I am seriously starting to question whether or not she has a job. Sure, most of the photos that we see of them together fall on a weekend. But it's a pretty long flight from PA to LA, so she'd need to take a long weekend to make it worthwhile and not feel like she just got there & have to turn around & leave again. Plus, there was Scotland. Pretty much every attorney I know, regardless of their specialty (criminal, corporate, litigation, etc), has a pretty heavy case load. I can't imagine she's able to take so much time off and keep both her clients & her employer happy. So I'm thinking either she doesn't work (with her family money, she may not have to!), or she actually lives in LA and works there and it's easier for her to take off with Luke on the weekends. Anyway, something just doesn't add up in my head.

You may be right Chevy. Although I'm sure you remember an earlier post where one of you guys found the name of the firm that lists her as an associate in a town in PA. Maybe she only works part-time for them. Regardless, she's got the man wrapped around her finger . Lucky girl.

I agree that she would have to be a part-time employee. I can't imagine keeping up with a celeb while holding down my job. My brain is fried and I'm exhausted when I leave at the end of the day; I can't imagine jetting off hither and thither and returning back to work Monday morning feeling well enough to perform my duties. Don't get me wrong: it would be a totally exciting life. But it would be unsustainable. My head would spin .... even worse than it already does.

I think the conclusion we've come to is correct. Of course, we'll never know, but like you said, Tex, how else could she function on the job w/all the traveling she's been doing. The jet lag alone would make it hard to focus. Oh well, I won't worry about Meg! I'm sure she's doing just fine financially. It's amazing the time you can devote to working out & other keeping up appearances activities (spa visits, facials, etc) when you're wealthy enough to only work part-time. Like the article posted about the opening party said she "looks like a supermodel". So whatever she's doing is definitely working for her. It also helps that she's really tall & only 28!

"... and only 28." Yeah, that's definitely a point in her favor: energy. She's one gorgeous, accomplished, and lucky lady. That's for sure. More power to her.

Well said, and I completely agree. She worked hard to accomplish all that she has early in life & now gets to enjoy herself (and Luke)

Maybe Meg is a contractor. Maybe she contracts to take only so many cases per month or year, or maybe just the cases she wants to take. Not sure how that works as I'm not an attorney nor a contractor.

Wow, that's great, Remi. I hope Chevy sees this in time.
What's with the McRemi, if you don't mind my I asking?
