Since I won't be able to watch it, I hope some fragments of their conversation will be available on YouTube... I would check YouTube as soon as possible after it airs. You might find it there for a little while. I used to record Luke's talk show appearances and post them on YouTube. First, they got removed by administration and then they deleted my account altogether. Apparently they have a problem with talk shows being posted.

Woo hoo! Can't wait to see the Lukester on Dave tonight! It's been such a long time since any of the boys did mainstream media (willingly anyway). They are probably taping, or getting ready to tape right now. The last time I was in NYC my hotel was right next to the Ed Sullivan Theater where they tape "Late Night." I'd see the lines of people and the limos arrive around the time I'd head back to my room in the afternoon (5ish). I highly doubt Dave will ask anything inappropriate about Owen. I'm guessing maybe just a polite "Owen doin OK?" Luke and Dave have always gotten along well and I don't think Dave would put Luke in such an awkward position. I wonder what Luke will wear?

I'll be surprised if David asks Luke about Owen, especially in those words: Owen doing OK? If Dave uses that wording, I'll consider it impolite. Such language would make everyone think Owen is not doing OK, and that Luke's answer will be nuanced. If Dave asks about Owen at all, I'd hope he would ask in a more neutral way, such as How is Owen? But then again, why draw attention at all to Owen and whatever it was that happened almost a year ago? It would be best if he just asked Luke How are your brothers? Or How is your family? I think that would be much more appropriate.
I'm expecting Dave will stick to Luke's golfing and movies rather than get personal.
Yeah, I'm curious what Luke will wear too.
Edited to add: Sunsetghost, my comments about David Letterman aren't meant to be critical of you. They are just my opinion, nothing more.

No offense taken at all Texas! It's interesting that we all have different opinions on things. It's one of the reasons I enjoy this board. So here's my take, and again, I'm not saying there's a right or wrong on the issue just different opinions. One of the "tricks of the trade" I learned as a lobbyist was using open/closed ended questions to elicit the kind of response I wanted. In the case of Luke on Letterman I actually think it would be better for Luke if Dave asks something like "Owen OK?" or "Your family doing well?" because it's a close-ended question. Luke can give a one-word answer-"Yep" and move on. It addresses "the elephant in the room" but allows a quick definitive response. On the other hand, an open-ended question usually feels uncomfortable without some follow-up. And, it requires the interviewee to provide the description. If Dave says "How is Owen?" Luke has to come up with a response even if it's just to say "great" or "fine." If his answer is seen as"vague" it can feel incomplete and awkward and make it harder to move on, or worse yet, can lead to more questions. Just my thoughts on the matter. In any case, can't wait to see the show! And I know Luke will be great!

Thanks Trikc! Luke's looking good....looking very good. In the last photo there appears to be someone holding a plaid suitcoat. I hope that's not what Luke is going to wear?! ICK! I swear those Wilson boys need a personal dresser. Once again I vounteer! Pick me! Pick me!

Believe it or not they do have a stylist... Well, I know Luke does. Someone who picks out his suits for shows and premieres. I forget her name though. At least he did at one time. Oh, and I was thinking about how the last time he was on letterman he said that whole thing about not caring about 'letting himself go' and how he was trying to pass it off as he was 'doing it for his craft' so I wonder if they'll bring up how good of shape he's in this time. I also wonder if they'll mention if he's single again. He's done it in other interviews when those two 'took a break'. Said things like "I'm not being coy, I just haven't found the one." and then 3 weeks later those two are canoodling at a Pete's coffee. They're so cat and mouse. But here are a few more. He's bringing in a grey suit! It is the one in the other persons hand. (I prefer him in blue... well, in nothing, but I'll take a grey suit.)

Wow, thanks for the photos. Nice to see Luke looking really happy with all the attention. OK, Sunset. David has been known to be a little aggressive with his guests. I just hope he has the class not to ask. I'm sure Luke is tired of being asked about Owen all the time and would appreciate not being asked on national television. If that's the suit coat Luke is going to wear, I do hope he changes into gray slacks. The khaki definitely does not look good with that glen plaid jacket! Of course, we all love Luke just the same.

The first couple of pictures I was thinking to myself "OMG Luke, please tell me you have a change of clothes! There's a hole in that shirt!" Then I saw the ones of him carrying the suit and I calmed down. He looks great! 3 more hours......what am I going to do??

omg. I just saw it. Those cameras make him a little puffy but he was adorable.
You tell me but I thought he looked really nervous. red in the cheeks, voice a little shaky and he kept tugging at his neck tie. But as always, adorable.
His stories were really fun. Especially the 'Owens brothers' comment. And I think we all read that bit about 'commandeering the tv room'. It was a LONG interview too. If I find video I'll post it.
Also, I saw Will Ferrell is on Craig Ferguson tonight. I wonder if we'll hear stories tomorrow of them out together. Since they're both in NY.
