Is it just me, or is it just adorable how Owen says his words? Any word, I mean. When I watch his movies I listen for words I haven't heard him say, (on the Wedding Crashers commentary I found loads. XD) I just get chills up my spine listening to him speak, and when its a new word its just amazing. Y'know? And when Owen speaks of his child hood, it just makes me melt. It makes me melt like when I see Owen interacting with children, (he's so nice!). I loved hearing him speak about his childhood in the wedding crashers commentary. I just love hearing about his past.
Is it just me, or does anybody else feel that way?

No, not just you. I love it too. Owen's voice and words (and some of his word choices, LOL) are delightful to my ears too.
His and Luke's voices are distinctive. I can hear their voices from another room and know immediately that it's them.

NedsBeauty and Texagal, I couldn't agree more. But I think it is that Texas drawl.

I love his voice! I thought that Texan drawl gave it that dreamlike quality. But then I heard Matthew McDude - I fell asleep. So now I conclude, Owen's voice is likea chocolate sundae. The accent is like the sprinkles on top (Leave it to moi to drag chocolate in) EFNL, welcome to our little board #hello#

#welcome# to the "Wilsonettes," Even.
I love the way Owen elongates his vowels. He doesn't say dog, he says 'daawwwg.' I think that's charming.
I can't decide if it's a Texas thing because I don't hear Luke saying dog the same way Owen does. Maybe he does and I haven't noticed. If he doesn't, then I think it's not so much a TX thing as it is an Owen thing.
;D

Academy awards, this year, "And the nomineeees for the best live action short film are" That ARE just killed mew... or as Karen Carpenter said (sang...whatever) "He's killing me softly with his voice" Owen's voice to me is as precious as a child's laughter(sp?)

Hello, evenfreaksneedlove, #welcome# You'll have to tell us what abbreviation you prefer #wink#
Owen definitely has a very distinctive voice. Very mellow. Inspires patience & anticipation in listeners. It seems like Owen & Andrew sound much more alike than Owen & Luke.

Montage. I love the way he says/uses it and he uses it quite often. I recall reading he had speech problems as a child, so that may add to his long enunciation of vowels and the slowness of his words. I really don't think it's a Texas thing. I am in love with Lightening McQueen because it's just the voice. Not that I have a problem with the whole package, because I so do not. I do love that, but his voice is definitely part of his charm.
Oh and HI E! Kachow!

Hahaha my dad loves that movie, so I'm getting it for him for Christmas... I feel kind of bad about it though because I think I'm getting it more for my own selfish wants then for him. Hiya back, Even. I don't think it's a TX thing either. Especially when he's the only one in his family who speaks like he does. His parents were from Massachusetts so they definitely do NOT have a TX twang. If I recall correctly, it was R's that Owen had trouble with. He substituted W for R. I don't think consonants are vowel-related; unless he had other speech difficulties I don't know about.

Hey E!!! Welcome! I don't pronounce my R's. It's a Massachusetts thing. I was in Disney once talking to someone next to me and she asked if I was from MA. I wasn't pronouning the R's. I don't even notice it.
I love the way Owen talks. It drives me nuts.

I just love it when he gets sarcastic. His way of speaking just makes it funnier. He is an all-round yummy man. Delicious!
