OWEN WILSON. WHAT MY FUNERAL WILL BE LIKE
Hollywood star OWEN WILSON wants THE ROLLING STONES' classic YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT played at his funeral.
The SHANGHAI KNIGHTS actor, 34, also wants his tombstone epitaph to be made up and for the original line-up of heavy metal band GUNS N' ROSES to perform at the wake.
Owen says, "I would have a fake tombstone; fake in the sense it didn't happen but somehow more true than whatever the reality might be."
Describing his wake, he says it will be a "bacchanalian, three-day drinking session. With Guns N' Roses reunited and performing. I love AXL ROSE."

HA HA!!! I thought he said somewhere else that he wanted his tombstone to say "Loving father," or something to that affect? That's funny. It's hilarious that he wants something made up. "Owen Wilson, Cured Cancer." LOL

I think it was during the credits of Zooalnder that he says he would like to be remembered as a loving father. Altogether now awwwww. I like his choice of music - but I think it's a bit morbid to think about it. I am not gonna plan my funeral it's one function I don't have to stress about cos I won't even be there so to speak

Don't do that to me! I saw "Owen's Funeral?" and went . For one tiny, irrational second there I thought something could have happened to him I know, I know, the men in white coats are coming It's really quite sweet that he wants to be remembered as a "loving father". If all is right in this universe it'll be a fact, not just for giggles at his funeral. He'd be a great father. I'd like something tragic, but romantic on my tombstone. What would you guys have on your gravestone if you could write your own epitaph?

What do I want for my epitaph LL? I can't even decide what to write on my Christmas Cards! How about Brought Peace to the Middle-east and the World Cured Multiple Sclerosis Proved that Sanata does exist Invented calorie-free chocolate that tastes exactly like Chocolate Convinced Vin Diesel to stop making movies Beloved wife of Owen Wilson and their three children, Vera Chuck and Dave That would do

I always wanted to have "drowned at sea" or something equally as tragic on my tombstone. Preferably while rescuing drowning babies in a storm I quite often have dreams in which I drown. I think there is something wrong with me

LL that is quite a common dream in times of stress. So like when your doing exams and stuff it's quite common to dream that your drowning or falling etc. You sound a bit like Royal from the Royal Tenenbaums when you say you would like drowned at sea on your tombstone. I think he had "Drowned at Sea while rescuing his family from a sinking battleship" It's a while since I have watched it and now I have the urge to go watch it again

Yeah, you are right about Royal saying that. For some reason I like that sentimentality. It appeals to my sense of adsurdity. A common dream in times of stress, eh? Well, that would make a lot of sense I'm so tense I could support the Golden Gate bridge with one finger.
