There was a post around here somewhere that gave an address where you could write to Owen, but somehow I can't seem to find it! In any case, I was wondering if you guys had it cause I would love to send him something! (Or try for an autograph at least! )

I have been taking alot of time to write a letter to Owen. And, I was wondering, is it possible for me to send a letter to TWC set still? (Haven't found any address, though). I haven't been succesfull sending it to his agent's address, so I've been looking for movie set addresses. (Worth a try!)

Since TWC is 2 years old, I would prefer to send something to him via a more recent business activity, such as whoever is doing Drillbit Taylor or The Darjeeling Limited. But I'm not sure which studios are producing those movies.

I've found out that American Empirical Pictures, Cine MosaicScott and Rudin Productions are producing TDL. AEP produced almost all of Wes's films. Drillbit's being produced by Paramount Pictures and Apatow Productions. What annoys me though is I found the producers, but not the addresses!

Are those addresses not available via white pages or - better yet - google?
I haven't tried so I wouldn't know.

I would have written: Owen Wilson c/o such-and-such studio etc.
I'll try google for you but I'll have to do it later. I'm about to go out now.

Neds, I went to another Passover seder dinner. No conga line at this one but we had a blast. Again, I ate too much. (Good thing though because you drink 4 cups of wine!)
I've been searching for addresses, and it's not been as easy a task as I expected. Not surprisingly, Paramount was the easiest to find:
Paramount Pictures Corp. 15260 Ventura Blvd. Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 818-380-7800
Rudin Productions is listed at: 5555 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90038 323-956-4600
But there are two other companies listed at this same address: Viacom Productions 5555 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90038 310-234-5000 (another mystery: how could the same location have a different area code??)
and: Off-Road Entertainment Inc. 5555 Melrose Ave. West Hollywood, CA 90038 323-956-4425
All I could get for Apatow Productions was this: 650 Bonson Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90004 (but Mapquest says that's an invalid zip code??) 323-960-8066
I couldn't find anything at all for American Empirical Pictures or Cine MosaicScott. But there are probably better sleuths in this forum than me. Good luck!

Oh, thank you T'Gal! That is a really, really big help! I am thinking of using Paramount Pictures, (since thats where Drillbits being filmed, and thats Owen most recent movie?) do you know how I would address that?
Owen Wilson c/o Paramount Pictures ect.?
And, I am very, very new to this, what happens if I send it to paramount?

Neds, yes, that's how I would do it. You could, if you wanted, mail your letter via certified or registered mail which, of course, cost extra than a stamp and require an additional sticker added to the envelope. 'Certified' means that you will be notified that somebody at Paramount received your letter. You'll receive a notice with somebody's signature on it, probably that of a receptionist. 'Registered' means that the addressee of the letter has to sign that he/she received your letter, (and you'll also be notified likewise); in this case, the addressee would be Owen himself. However, I'm not sure if this is possible in the case of celebs and other "VIP's;" otherwise, he would have to make a trip to Paramount daily considering the amount of mail a celeb of his popularity receives. I doubt he (or anybody else) would be willing to do this unless there is some kind of fowarding arrangement between the post office and Paramount. But that would negate the certainty of a registered letter. I suppose you could try it though if you really want to.
Maybe others who have done this before can give you more accurate advice. I've never had any luck in sending mail to celebs and being certain they received it - though I didn't try certifying or registering my mail either. But that doesn't mean you won't have better luck. I say: 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained.'
