married to Owen...or even in - we would all like to hope - an 'unexpected ' relationship ..thats right out of nowhere you find yourself as "Owen's new Girl" - I can see the STAR headlines now... seriously though, my friend, as we were dishing out our monthly does of celebrity gossip and crushes got on the subject of this.. she had asked that if somehow somewhere I found yourself in a relationship with someone in the biz would I really be able to deal with everything, all the obligations, social and otherwise that went along with being in that relationship/marriage - She flatly said she couldn't, it'd be too much.. I think I might could probably, but.. who knows I'm a little more on the homebody side. I like to go out and have fun, sure, but you know, rent a movie, order a pizza, six pack of beer on Saturday nite, or perhaps a boardgame.. you know with the beer of course! after all, it IS Saturday night... ahh yes, Owen and I, drinking beer and playing Trivial Pursuit.... (pretty sure he'd beat the pants off me in that game - but thats not actually a bad thing here is it?) So what do you honestly think? Could you handle the life of CELBERITY WIFE?
just something to think about~ Cindy~

Well, Since i'm working towards being in the business I guess I could say that I could handle it. Otherwise I wouldn't be striving for a booming music career and someday a film career. It would be awesome if when I do make it Owen and I could become friends. He's the exact type of person I would hang around with (from what I know of him). It would be such an honor if he considered me even as just a friend. I wrote a few screenplays and It would great if I could work with him someday. The film would HILARIOUS!! Rock On

Rock on Pancake! Well, Cindy, it is true it must be hard to lead a life of a celebrity wife. But I think it will be OK - not just OK maybe wonderful - if the husband is supporting and comforting. I am in no way an expert in marriage but, however much you love your partner, if your partner gives you little comfort, everything...even the easy, daily things...becomes gradually difficult. On the other hand, if your partner gives you a lot of comfort, very very hard things in life will be bearable. So I think Owen's wife will be OK She will be just fine He really gives me a lot of comfort. I don't know what Owen will be like as a boyfriend or a husband, but I remember reading him saying something like he might want to marry someone who was not in the entertainment business but he thought in that case she might find the life in Hollywood too much. I also read him saying, talking about the split from Sheryl, that he thought he might be a better friend than a boyfriend. Can you see how thoughtful and caring he is?! Oh my God. He seems to think a lot about what the girl is feeling. So I think Owen's wife will be OK.

Gee Pancake are you trying to give me a heart attack. I have been on vacation all week and what is the first post I see when I check the board "Marriage". I thought to myself "Oh my God, Owen got married - NOOOO. Please for the good of my heart, DON'T DO THAT AGAIN.

OMG, MAC!! I really understand how you felt Please make yourself a cup of tea (maybe that's too English...what do you drink there?) and relax now. Owen is still "available" (please say this word like Roy does about Princess Pei Pei)

I want to marry Owen too. Maybe we should make a special fund to pay for our bail when we all incarcerate ourselves in an attempt to marry/rape Owen.
Just a thought. ;D

I heard this on the radio yesterday on the way to work..some deejays were interviewing this woman that had written a book about guys.. and she was saying that there is a big difference between a 'nice' guy and a 'good' guy.. and that "you men out there, don't ever want to be a nice guy" - a good guy however is great! Thats what you want to be.. knowing how to seal the deal, tow the line, put the foot down when necessary etc. apparently the 'nice' guys just get chewed up and spit out by us women, however a 'good' guy can hold his own.. then she went on with to say that studies have shown that only 3 to 5 % of men will marry after the age of 35 -their chances of finding a mate are slim, just like they are always saying about the women.. same holds true for men... of course the 3 to 5% that will and do end up married are those in entertainment, qwzillionares, and big high powered men.. and in that case, simply because of their status they can wait.. because they shouldn't have any problems.. for obvious reasons...
whether you buy this or not... just thought I'd toss in here~

and ps - I would like to see both Owen and Luke marry some nice hometown kinda girls. Girls that would have fallen in love with them regardless of their status, not some big movie star, or model or such.. they're too sweet - they should have really sweet wives too ~

I thought you were going to say you were getting married! Thank God it's not Owen. I read he said he makes a better friend than a boyfriend. I'd like to marry Owen too, but only if I had Ben Stiller or Vince Vaugh in with the deal. Now that would be fun!!!! ;D

I wonder why he feels he'd make a better friend then boyfriend?... hmmm... Anyway at least he sounds honest.
In the BB extras someone had asked him if he thought he could trust a really beautiful girl..he said he's tend to doubt it... I thought that was kinda cute and honest ~

I would like to see both Owen and Luke marry some nice hometown kinda girls. Darn, I'm not from their hometown so I guess that eliminates me! I moved to Dallas as soon as I could though.
