I'm going through an Anchorman faze at the moment: I make the kids read their school books via auto cue, drink whiskey in the morning, armed with various instruments of torture from the kitchen I indulge myself by gang fighting mothers from nearby schools, hacking off limbs with a blunt bread knife, enjoying some "Afternoon delight" in the...morning, noon and night. Which leads me on nicely to... Afternoon Delight Clipand Afternoon Delight Music videoEdited to Add 2nd Video.

Thanks Furg. I haven't watched Anchorman for ages. I wonder how many takes they had to do to get that scene?

It's amazing that those four goofy goobers can sound so good together! Remi, loves the "beoooo-woop" part.

Awe, I LOVE Anchorman!!! It's one of my favorites. Even Richie, who I'll admit probably shouldn't have seen it, (but he has now, oh well) talks about Ron Burgandy. We were in the car listening to the Starsky and Hutch soundtrack the other day when "Afternoon Delight" began. He got excited talking about the song Ron Burgandy sings!! It was really funny.

It's funny, but I remember when "Afternoon Delight" was on the music charts! ;D
I remember all those props used in Starsky & Hutch - even the "stemware" floral coffee mugs. How 70's! They got it just right.
I even dated a guy who had that same yellow Ford pickup with the camper insert. How funny is that??

There are so many fantastic Quotes in this movie I dont know where to begin. One of my favourite parts is when Ron and Veronica are making small talk as the news credits roll, it reminded me of the was Scotland Today used to be(Furg will remember), when the newsreaders would sit shuffling papers at the end. Brick is the funniest character, and I found Ben Stiller highly attractive as a long haired Spanish guy.
