OMG, I have to agree, SP & Negirl. I've never heard that song before. I wonder who the band is. Whatever, it expresses my feelings the best ever since the Association's "Cherish." The lyrics remind me of how priviledged I am to live in Texas as I am able to get to Austin and Dallas, see places Owen has been, see the same things he's seen, the streets he lived on, where he went to school, etc. Just makes me feel one more degree closer to him than I would otherwise. Ewww I hope that doesn't make me sound like a stalker or some kind of sicko! I had some more songs to add to the list but they're pretty sorry additions after SP's song. ;D Thank you for your contribution, SP!!  |

You're welcome. The band is called Rascall Flatts and you might remember them from 'Life is a highway', if you've heared the CARS soundtrack.
It is beautiful, isnt it, the purest form of love...

Speaking of stalkers, this track from 50 First Dates, by the band UB40, which I've nicknamed the 'Stalker Song' is a sweet one too. Cant beat Take Me There, but its sweet anyways.

There are so many Hindi songs I can think of... if only I can find a translation... ooohhhh....FOUND IT!!!!!!! Unfortunately, it sounds a li'l bit not nice that way....  Song: Hum Tum. That's interesting. I don't have time to watch the video yet but that set-up sounds like it's a really good song. I look forward to watching the video. Oh thats great Tex. Hum Tum (I and you) is one of my fave songs. Somehow, seeing the actress imagine her life makes me imagine my life! Tex, I love this song! Nice slideshow! I'm not even sure what the language was. The lyricist used so many archaic words, that I never actually understood the song  . I find it really easy to imagine myself and Owie in that situation coz I think the actor and Owen are quite similar, like long nose, sweet voice, naughty smile, twinkling eyes.... I wanna grow old with Owen!!!! |

Oh, that's interesting. Maybe the composer was trying to use archaic Hindi like an English-speaking counterpart might write something in Elizabethan English?
That's sweet to want to grow old with someone although, unfortunately, I can't picture myself growing old with Owen. I can't picture myself doing anything with Owen due to our age difference and because our lives and lifestyles are so different. I would be thrilled just to be within his social circle, even on the outer fringe as just an acquaintance. Gosh, that would so super! That was my thinking behind Elton John's "Friends."

I put this song in the same box as 'Take Me There'. Its a beautiful, slow, soulful track. Ya know how in most songs the guy promises to bring the girl sun, stars, ex-boyfriend's embalmed heart etc. there is nothing like that in this one. Its the most truthful song I've ever heard. Plus, it tomorrow me and Kato have to fight for Owen's love, this is the song I'm gonna use...
