Negirl, I did a Google search on that phrase. Is the song I'LL LOVE YOU ALWAYS FOREVER By Donna Lewis? Let me know if you remember...I loved your choice of FALL by Clay Walker...you were right, it's Owe(n)-inspiring Thanks Shattered!! That is the song! That one line has been running through my head for days, but I couldn't remember the name of it! I wish I thought of Google before.

OK, for probably a welcome change of "tune" from my usual weepy needy songs, I present one of the most fun "nonsense" songs from 1965: "You Really Turn Me On" by Ian Whitcomb. Here's video from a TV performance of him lip-synching his song. Funny how he doesn't even try to coordinate his piano-playing with the audio, LOL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2FkCnDg0UsAnd the lyric "you really turn me on" definitely works for any of the Wilsons! You Turn Me On Ian Whitcomb Come on now honey you know you really turn me on Come on now honey you know you really turn me on And when and when you do uh huh huh huh uh uh That's my song Come on now baby, come on and do the jerk with me Come on now honey, come on and do the jerk with me And if if you do uh huh huh huh uh uh That's my song (break) Come on now baby you know you really turn me on Ah Come on now honey you know you really turn me on Ah yeah And when and when you do uh huh huh huh uh uh That's my song Let's go!

Oh cool! "Make Me Smile" takes me back to 1970! (Chicago used to be called 'Chicago Transit Authority' then). I love the way the song ends. Hear it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8ehw93aSqoMake Me Smile (J. Pankow) Children play in the park, they don't know I'm alone in the dark, even though Time and time again I see your face smiling inside. I'm so happy that you love me Life is lovely when you're near me. Tell me you will stay make me smile. Living life is just a game, so they say. All the games we used to play fade away. We may now enjoy the dreams we shared so long ago. Oh my darling, got to have you. Feel the magic when I hold you. Cry sweet tears of joy, touch the sky. Now I need you more than ever. No more crying - we're together. Tell me you will stay. Make me smile

P.S. The lyric: "come and do the jerk with me" refers to a dance. There was a dance popular in the 60's called "the jerk."
Just in case anyone wanted to know.... probably nobody. ;D ;D

You're welcome negirl. That Donna Lewis reminds me of Dolly Parton. I like hers and kenny Rogers' 'Islands in the Streams' Thanks for all the contribution ladies. It's nice to see so many songs remind us about Owen, Luke and Andrew. And TG, LOL, Good thing you added that...I would have definately thought of something differnt things. ;D Girls, your songs are wonderful...great choice I love the voice of Kelly Clarkson. her first one I had heard was 'Angel'(it's a cover of Sarah McLachlan's song) ...it is so beautiful...like a lullaby. Everytime I'm tired, depressed, sad etc.etc., I listen to it. here's a link...it's audio only though... [ftp]http://youtube.com/watch?v=FjvDAkcNDwY&feature=related[/ftp] There's a line, 'In the arms of the angel, may you find some comforting' Well, I have been a li'l sad for the past few days...this is my angel: Now if only there was a way to get into those arms...

Aw, now that's my kind of angel! And TG, LOL, Good thing you added that...I would have definately thought of something differnt things. Modified to add: Ah, "Islands In The Stream" is actually a Bee Gees' song, written by the Gibbs. You can hear/watch them perform their song live here: www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=islands+in+the+stream+bee+gees&btnG=Google+SearchI provide the full page this time because you can see video of them singing on the first YouTube link. The second YouTube has no video but better sound quality. Links to the lyrics are also on the page, further down.

Didnt know that...Thanks TG modified: OMG TG, that song is beautiful. I like both the versions equally now. No one can beat the Gibbs...(Except may be the Wilsons when it comes to sexy quotient ). But Kenny and Dolly, they sound really sweet together. Both versions rock !

I agree, both versions rock!I only knew the Kenny/Dolly version too,so Thanks Texasgal! Nice choices all of you!! Yep.....our Angel! #bow# I have another song too, Shine by Take ThatYou, you're such a big star to me You're everything I wanna be But you're stuck in a hole and I want you to get out I don't know what there is to see But I know it's time for you to leave We're all just pushing along Trying to figure it out, out, out. Your anticipation pulls you down When you can have it all, you can have it all. So come on, so come on, get it on I don't know what you're waiting for Your turn is coming don't be late, hey hey So come on See the light on your face Let it shine Just let it shine Let it shine Stop being so hard on yourself It's not good for your health I know that you can change So clear your head and come round You only have to open your eyes You might just get a big surprise And it may feel good and you might want to smile, smile, smile. Oh don't you let your demons pull you down 'Cause you can have it all, you can have it all. So come on, so come on, get it on I don't know what you're waiting for Your time is coming don't be late, hey hey So come on See the light on your face Let it shine Just let it shine Let it shine Hey let me know ya You're all that matters to me Hey let me show ya You're all that matters to me. (repeat) So come on, get it on I don't know what you're waiting for Your turn is coming don't be late, hey hey So come on, See the light on your face Let it shine Just let it shine Let it shine Hey let me know ya You're all that matters to me Hey let me show ya You're all that matters to me (repeat) Hey let me love you You're all that matters to me (shine shine shine shine shine so come on see the light on your face let it sine just let it shine shine) Hey so come on yeah Shine all your light over me. See the light on your face Let it shine Just let it shine Shine!

Leslee, that's a great song. The lyrics really apply. I see I'm not the only Bee Gees fan here. Here's my fave from their last CD (dated 2001): www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZEi0OB1lQwNo accompanying video, just the old photo from the Saturday Night Fever LP. I love the lyric: "Sweet deja vu, through the feast or famine I'll be with you. Sheltering arms reach out to you...."
