For all you Brits Owen is out for 5 months (not OW!) He twisted the ligaments in his knee and i sure know how painful they can be. ow!!!!!!
All i can say is come on Gerrard and Crouch. They are the only ones who seems to score for us

HH, I'm not an England supporter but I am gutted for Owen, Rooney and the England supporters. Why didn't they play Crouch from the get go, Owen was already carrying an injury, or am I getting him mixed up with Rooney? Anyway I hope he makes a full recovery. I just learned today that the stars on the team jersey above the emblem denotes the number of times that team has won the world cup.

Congratulations to Brazil! Too bad the United States lost to Ghana today. Team USA is now out of the World Cup. But since soccer isn't very popular in USA, probably hardly anyone noticed.

Oh don't say that, TG, LOL. On the Dr. Quinn board I'm posting there are a few US "girls" (one of them actually playing soccer) who are very enthusiastic about the World Cup and really mad that the US team is out of the game now. #wink#

There are few soccer fans in the U.S. but, within those fans, are very high spirits! ;D

BP, I was sorry that Japan is out of the Cup. I think they're playing very well.
Did you know the their coach is Brazilian? He's name is Zico, and he used to play for Kashima Anthlers, I think he is popular in Japan.
He is the reason why I love football so much. I used to watch him play when I was growing up and he was brilliant. Such a great player. It's a shame he never actually won the Cup when he played for Brazil...
Girls, I'm sorry about the US... I wish they had advanced to.
Gotta go to bed!
