I loved Brokeback Mountain. It left me wondering "what if" the boys had not listened to others. Can't get away from love. I am going to finally see Capote this weekend. It took an Oscar nomination for it to finally come to my hick city. I'm afraid to hold my breath fo TWBS. I'd pass out and hit my head.

I saw Brokeback mountain last week and i was so surprised!! All the actors done fantastic jobs and the story was really good. It was the type of movie that draws you in and you get lost. I forgot that it was nearly midnight!!!
I was shocked at the nominations. I hope they all win. I am off to see Walk the Line soon.

I've only seen Walk The Line. I'd like to see more such as Brokeback Mountain, but I either haven't had the time or the money. I hope soon though.

I really want to see Noah's "The Squid and the Whale" (nominated for the best screenplay) soon. It is scheduled to come to the UK cinemas in April

I really enjoyed Capote. It is a great character study. The humor is subtle but still there. It presents details about Capote's life without overblowing things and smacking you on the head. You are allowed to connect the dots and draw your own conclusions. From what I remember about Truman Capote, Phillip Seymour Hoffman is dead on the mark. He presents a person to which many would have trouble relating and makes their motivations and feelings accessible.

I wanted to see "Squid & The Whale" but, darn it, I waited too long, and now it's gone.
I really want to see "Capote" too, but I think the show schedule isn't great.
Just saw "Good Night, And Good Luck." EXCELLENT piece of work!!!

I haven't seen Walk the Line yet. It's not running in our town's theater (those damn morons didn't carry Wedding Crashers either), and I wonder if Brokeback Mountain will make it here. It's being released in March I think.

I posted in the Movie Reviews thread that I saw Walk The Line yesterday. I absolutely LOVED it. It is a really great movie and Joaquin was just perfect! He really blew me away. Reese was good too, but I think he was just phenomenal. I hope they both win Oscars today.

I was upset that Joaquin didn't win, but I was happy for George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon and Crash (for Best Picture).

I was shocked by some of the winners but happy that the honuors were shared between films rather then one winning 7 or so. I was over the moon that Reese won as she was fantastic but its a shame Joaquin didn't win. George Clooney won too I am now going to watch all my ER dvds. I was surprised that Crash won best film, but i haven't seen it so i can't pass judgement. It was also a shame Michelle Williams didn't win. She was excellent. Thats me done

Hutch.... i was also a bit disappointed that Joaquin didn`t win.I think he was really good and gave a brilliant performance in Walk the Line.Reese was all cute and i am very happy for her!
I though Crash was a really great movie so the award is well deserved. But there was a shock when Crash won, because everybody`s favourite was Brokeback Mountain. HUtchshottie, you should see a Crash, you will be impressed.
I also wanted MIchelle to win.She was really good.
xx Sylcia
