I went to see this band last night -- they are called Longview and are from Manchester, England. I am a big Manchester band fan... Joy Division, Smiths, Happy Mondays - to name a few.
This band reminded me of Coldplay and the Smiths with a touch of the Cure. They were great live. I met them after the show; they were so polite and friendly. They are touring in the US right now. If they come your way, I'd recommend checking them out.
