OK, hope you readers don't mind some weirdness & silliness.

I heard a conversation among the DJ's of my favorite morning radio show. The topic was "girl crushes".... girl stars that girls like without it necessarily being a homosexual thing. (Or it could have a homosexual dimension too... I really don't care.)

I heard that conversation, and I thought Yes! I think that really does happen! We girls DO have girl crushes!

Since I brought it up, I'll start with my favorite girl crushes. The ones I can think of at the moment are - in no particular order:

Pam Grier (from Jackie Brown)
Michelle Yeoh (from Goldeneye and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)
Lucy Liu (from Shanghai Noon)
Helen Mirren (from Excalibur and Prime Suspect)
Sarah Michelle Geller (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Renee Russo (from The Thomas Crown Affair)
Yoko Shimada (from Shogun)

My favorite actress is Kate Hudson. And after seeing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Kirsten Dunst is high on my list as well. I know more of the actresses I don't like rather than like. For instance, Julia Roberts and Renee Zelweger (how ever you spell her last name).

Owpal, don't worry about. Maybe you're just normal & well-adjusted. Then there's me. Maybe it's more of a case of wishing I was someone else rather than having a real crush.
Especially if they're co-starring with those Wilson guys.

I think it is nomal to have favourite girl stars, because there are a lot of gorgeous, nice actresses, singers, etc.!!! But I also think it is normal not to have had any crush on girl stars like owpal hasn't.

Anyway, I am the one who do have crushes on girls, and my favourites are:

Olivia Williams (Miss Cross of course!)
Marisa Tomei
Nicole Kidman
Cameron Diaz

They are beautiful and very good actresses

I also like Sheryl Crow. Her songs move me and I love her voice
