i will go there asap!! and i will totally download that song now!!
i thought he kind of faded off the planet after "Ego" because they don't talk about him that much here in the US...i'm a little angry at myself now for not looking him up before!! but thanks for reminding me! ;D

Jennifer, he was quite big here ... for a bit...but i really haven't heard any news about him on the radio or tv...or maybe i just missed it!  but i'll definitely go out and get his new CD asap!! ;D oh, and were you as big a fan of Take That as I was??  anyway, this is sort of music appreciation: you know what song i've had stuck in my head for like the past MONTH?? you remember that song during Bottle Rocket when Anthony runs back to Inez after he was in some restaurant with Dignan, where he drew a picture of a girl on a horse?? well, THAT song was stuck in my head for a long, long time...so yesterday, i decided to download it, you know, to help me get it outta my head...BAD IDEA!! lol it's been playing NON-STOP in my head ALL DAY TODAY!! lol!! it's a good song...for those of you who actually care (lol) the band is called Love and the title of the song is "Alone Again Or." it's worth a download off of Limewire or WinMX  |

On Friday night I picked up 2 excellent CDs:
1. The "Garden State" soundtrack, I second Librarian in her admiration of this CD! It's a wonderful mix of edgy electric tunes & emotional acoustic songs. Terrific background music for writing, cooking, daydreaming or anything else that stimulates creative activities. In fact, the Garden State CD is playing right now, as I type this!
2. Amos Lee's new self-titled CD. Wow - this is a FABULOUS CD. The best way I can describe it is "stripped-down acoustic soul". "Keep it Loose, Keep it Tight" and "In the Arms of a Woman" have been played over and over and over on my CD player.

You should also download '2000 Man' by the Rolling Stones!!!!!! It'll put Bottle Rocket right into your thoughts as soon as you hear the first notes!!!!!!! It plays as Anthony is running away after the robbery at the end and as Dignan is getting arrested!!!

can you still buy them?? i want one now too!!! i think i'll go to the mall tomorrow and just get all four soundtracks!
ps: i also love Zissou's theme...i don't think it's on the soundtrack, but it's wicked catchy! ;D

You know, the last scene in the clip would be Bill talking to Owen, asking him if he could hear the whales singing, and then the music would start in....... nah NAH nah nah nah, NAH nah nah NAH nahnah nah nah............. They always played that, and I was terribly, terribly disappointed that it wasn't on the soundtrack!!!!!!!!!!!!!  |

Oh, L2D, you're talking about the little piece that plays in the background on the site?? ?? If you watch the clips, you'll see Bill ask Owen if he can hear the whales singing, and Owen says 'beautiful, I wonder what they're saying' and then Bill says 'Well, that was the sludge tanker over there but........there you go' and then the song I LOVE starts, and it Wasn't on the soundtrack  |

i remember that scene, but i don't remember the music...was it in the movie or in the trailer?? if you can find some of the lyrics of it (like if you remember a line from it) i'll download it for you and send it over ;D

I only saw the movie once............and was WAY too hyperventilative......hehehehe........to remember everything. It always plays in the trailer, I don't know if it WAS in the movie.........
And there are no words, so there's no way to download it..........but your're sweet to offer!!
