Wow, Bunnypanda, what a gift you've given me. That's a wonderful article! I can relate very well to some of what she wrote. I wonder if it might be because we're of the same generation.
I am just finishing my second portrait of Jane, to send both of them to her with a letter. Bunny, since you're a JA fan too, you might like to have her fan address. I have this one for her: JA 24 Cale St. London, SW3-3QU
And I will definitely look for her 3 books!

Bunny I have a link to The BBC interview John Lennon gave 48hrs before he was killed. Initially it was meant to be a 1/2 hour interview with Andy Peebles, it went on to last a mammoth 3 hrs. Its a fantastic interview and gives great insight into the heart and soul of Lennon. I was especially charmed to hear him say that he'd never owned or had a copy of Happy Christmas War is Over, Andy Park on hearing this said he's send him a copy, bless. His love for his wife is very clearly and beautifully expressed, I have since seen many interviews with friends and family of Lennon's contradicting this view. Sour grapes? All in all he was at the end of his life a humble and completely devoted father, husband and "feminist" who atoned for his mistakes. I lost count of the many times I was reduced to tears hearing him speak, he was a pure genius and working class hero. Anyway the link had links on it to some "dodgy sites", so I've taken it off this post. If you want the link P.M. me.

Furg, I enjoyed reading your comments about John Lennon and the interview. I didn't know he gave this 3-hr interview. Though I lived through all of Beatlemania and its aftermath, there's always something new I learn about John everytime there's a discussion about him. Btw, I never doubted his love for Yoko and his sons.
Like any fan, I took his loss personally.
I'll pm you.
