I received an email from Tex today (other members did too). She is having problems logging in once again. Hopefully it will get cleared up soon!

Just to give you the update everyone, Tex and I have been trying to sort out her log-in problems again. The basic problem is that she uses AOL and ProBoards has the known problem of conflicting with AOL, but usually if she uses a non-AOL browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), even if she is connected through AOL, she should have no problem accessing the board. But somehow her Internet Explorer doesn't work properly. This is just weird. She may have to install Firefox. But she is trying to change from AOL too so she will get here eventually. We will keep trying. In the meantime, if anyone knows what can be done, please PM me or e-mail Tex. Her e-mail address is on her profile but just in case, it is allynsl1951@aol.comSorry it is taking ages...

Firefox would just be better all around. It doesn't get so many popups, and viruses, and especially spyware like IE does, especially if you have the free program Zone Alarm and Avast anti-virus. You can also run Ad Aware and Spybot and your computer will be well protected. Yes, I know nothing was mentioned about problems in that way, but a very smart computer friend told me this, I use it, and it's working great so far. (knock wood) IE has gone so commercial that it can get to be pop up hell!
