Hi there!

Welcome to the Wilsons board. Thanks for joining us. This is a friendly fan forum. We hope you will enjoy discussing all things Wilson and Wes Anderson related

We have a few simple guidelines we would like you to keep in mind


1. Be kind


2. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Tolerance should be practised, you don't have to agree with someone and you are entitled to tell them so, as long as you do it politely. If you read what you have written and think there is the slightest chance it will offend the person it is aimed at, please take it to a PM.


3. We are all fans, we all have a common interest, let's have fun together


4. Before you post, please use the search function to check something is not already posted on the board. However double-posting is not a cardinal sin. You will not be hung, drawn and quartered! We would just like you to take a sec to check (when I originally wrote that I didn’t know the search function doesn’t really work too well – oh well! So we’ll just go with the do your best and something posted twice is better than it not being posted at all approach! ;D )


5. Personal abuse aimed at a poster is never justifiable.


6. If you have a question or concern about anything on the board please send a message to one of the admins.

7. Freedom of speech is respected here. No opinion will be censored, so long as it is not phrased in an abusive or threatening manner. Please be sure to make it clear you are stating your opinion and do not suggest you are stating facts unless they are irrefutable.


8. Whilst we encourage discussion on all things "Wilson", please respect their privacy and refrain from posting private information that is not public domain ie not already published in the media, such as unsubstantiated rumors, where they live or anything that would encourage stalking.

I would like to remind everyone to please try to remain on topic... We have tons of threads and sections on here for you to talk about whatever you want, so post away wherever you want to, but please don't go off topic. An off topic comment here and there is fine, but some threads on here have started as one thing and have turned into something else.

This is not aimed at anyone in particular. I think we are all guilty about doing it. I just thought we could all be a little more careful in the future.

I just want to support what Natalie said about staying on topic 100% - although I am also a terrible offender

I want to post the Proboards Terms of Service to clear up any confusion about what is and isn't ok

3. CONTENT RESTRICTIONS

Your web site must conform to the following standards to be eligible to utilize this service:

User's content must comply in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws of the State of California and the US Federal Government.
User's web site may not contain content promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, "spam," fraud, racism, mlm, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal activity.
User's message board and Web site must be in English.

The board comes with a censored word list...these are words that when typed will automatically have asterisks inserted. Asterisks are ok. Swearing is allowed, just try to use it sparingly. Thanks

Just want to put up a reminder about double-posting..... We don't have a ton of rules around here, and we don't go crazy enforcing them....but the double-posting has been happening a lot lately, so I wanted to mention something about it...

If you want to add something to your own post that you had posted 2, 5, 20 minutes, etc., before, and no one has posted after you, please modify your existing post. If many hours, days, weeks, months, etc. go by, you don't have to apologize for double-posting after yourself. #lol#

If you need help figuring out how to modify your post, or have any other questions, there are a lot of admins on board. #wink#

We all do it from time to time, it's just something tiny that needs to be watched - it makes it easier to read through the boards when you're on limited time. #wink#
