Thank you all for the warm welcomes. I used to want to retire in Barcelona, Spain, but now I think I'll just retire here.

Erm... hi everyone! As new member, I thought I better introduce myself after skimming through the different threads... Well, hello, my name's Kathy and I'm a university student from Germany (so please excuse my English at times - I sure don't mean to offend anyone or anything...). I'm mostly into Owen-related stuff, but interested in quite a range of different trivia... So, nice being here. Thanks for having me. ;D

As a Jewish Texan, I think it's appropriate to say:
Shalom Y'all!
I've already been posting messages after having lurked a while, so I thought I should finally introduce myself.
I'm Sherrie, and I might be the oldest Wilson fan on any board - just old enough to be Owen & Luke's mum. (Being Andrew's mum would be a stretch for me though). Hee hee.
I'm in San Antonio, Texas. I am a cytotechnologist by trade, and an amateur portrait artist by hobby. I also enjoy writing, bicycling, hiking, and travel.
The Wilsons are not just talented and gorgeous, but they have also been inspirations to me. I had put my art & writing away years ago because I thought I was no good. But the Wilsons came along and, though I'm still probably no good, I seem to have been reborn. I know it sounds crazy to say about people I've never met (darn it!!!), but it's true. And, besides, their hotness is too great to be measured.
So wonderful to have this forum to share my love & admiration for these guys. You all are so nice & interesting & witty!

Welcome everyone,
One of the nicest things about this board is that we have members of all ages and backgrounds. Its funny, I always believed as you got older there are just some behaviors that are just not acceptable anymore (like this Wilson thing); but one of the things I have come to realized being a part of this board is that no matter what your age some feelings and needs don’t change. And you know what, that is okay, in fact it is great. Happy posting everyone.

Thank you for your welcomes, everybody. It's very nice to be here.
Yes, you're right about age: appeal is appeal.
Not only is Owen beautiful, his quirky, original sense of humor is on the same wavelength as mine. There's a meeting of minds between he & me - at least in the humor department. Not to mention the lust factor present in me...in a large quantity.
I've never been sure what it means to "act one's age," but I have been encouraged to do so more than once in my life. Perhaps I've always been youthful because I never had any kids; therefore, I never HAD to grow up.
Oh, and I've lost 50 pounds since last September. It's embarrassing to admit I was heavy, but it's one more thing the Wilsons unwittingly inspired me to do.

A special welcome to KitKaos, from one newcomer to another!
Your English is just fine - no need to worry or apologize.
When I was in high school, my family hosted a German student from Hamburg. I'm so glad we did this; it is an experience I'll never forget.
Wilkommen im Die Wilsons!

BP, I've lost 50 pounds U.S. That's a WEIGHT measurement, not British currency. LOL (Though I do have a talent for losing money pounds as well!) I think one U.S. pound = 15 stone U.K. I'm sure more knowledgeable people can verify or correct that.

Hey I'm knowledgeable in weight measurements! 1 stone = 14 pounds 1 stone = around 6.35 kg 1 pound = around 0.454 kg I only know these because, having been born in Japan where everything is measured in grams and kilograms, when I came to England I ended up memorizing them after having to convert between them so many times ;D Congrats again texasgal That is an unbelievable achievement! Hello KitKaos Great to have you here! I like your "Life is beautiful"!
