hi everybody!  I was wondering if anybody knew much about andrew's son, joey, or andrew's wife. I was curious like how long they were married, and if anyone has seen any pictures of her. also I would love to see more pictures of joey. You all seem to really like andrew  so I thought you might know. |

This is all I know about Joey Wilson: He would be about 10 or 11 years old now, I think. He is named for his paternal grand-uncle, Bob Wilson's brother. Joey's mother is Nigerian but I don't know what her name is, her age, where she is living now, or her profession. I don't know what sort of custody arrangement Andrew and his ex-wife have in regard to Joey.
Occasionally Joey shows up in photos and videos of his father and uncles, and some of those have been posted here. The forum administrators might be able to direct you to where those photos and videos can be found. I don't think any that include Joey have been posted very recently.
Maybe others here know more about Joey than I do. But I think that if anyone here does know more they probably prefer to keep most information about Joey private given that he is a child. I've only revealed what is publicly known because that's all I know.

I just remembered Joey's full name is Joseph Ngono Wilson. I'm pretty sure that's how his middle name is spelled. Maybe someone else can confirm it. Mr & Mrs Bob Wilson met their first grandchild when he was one day old. Again, I don't know this information directly; I read it in an interview with Bob Wilson a few years ago.

Tex, I think Joey's middle name is Obiamiwe. don't know how to spell it. I could be wrong about the name, but that's what I've remembered from an article. But I noticed in the Life Aquatic that Bill Murray mentioned the Obiamiwe Peninsula and I thought it must be a reference. There was an article in a magazine about a year ago where Andrew and Owen took a reporter to the beach. It said the water was REally cold and Joey stayed on the beach and shook his head and said he didn't go in with them anymore. it was funny. |

Joey appeared in a video with Andrew & Owen when Owen was walking Garcia in a park. There was a photo of Joey with Andrew when Owen was hospitalized. And I think Joey was with Andrew & Owen when Andrew brought Owen home from hospital.

Edit:- oh I did a search on Google, his ex-wife is called Ngono. I'm pretty sure there was a photo of Joey on the red carpet with Andrew or/and Luke that was posted recently because I remember someone asking who he was and I replied but I have so many posts, its hard to track it back lol ill see if I can find it... Thanks for the Luke/Joey pic link. Luke and Joey look adorable together. I can add a of couple tidbits. Nothing private, just stuff that I remember from interviews with various Wilsons over the years. This stuff may already be posted here somewhere so sorry if I'm repeating. Andrew's ex is an employment law attorney in LA. I assume she's still in practice?? Andrew's wedding was in DC and Owen served as Andrew's best man. Awwwwww...... If I remember right, Owen has also been quoted as saying the marriage only lasted a "few months." Owen has joked that he takes some responsibility for the break-up because he was always hanging around and didn't give Andrew and his wife any time alone. He said Andrew finally got fed up and locked him out. Owen then climbed in Andrew & Ngono's second story window to get some clothes he had left there (ala Dupree) and fell thru the ceiling. Andrew has also mentioned the incident in interviews. He said when he complained about Owen's little escapade to their Dad, Bob sided with Owen because Andrew should have let Owen get his stuff.  Poor Andrew..he can't catch a break as far as Owen is concerned. First he shoots Andrew with a BB and then he crashes thru his ceiling! ;D Owen mentions Joey in the Wedding Crashers DVD commentary. He and Vince are talking about their childhoods and Owen comments that his nephew is punished by being put in "timeout" and is not spanked.  You can tell from the way Owen talks about Joey he's crazy about the little guy! |

thanks everybody! I found it very intersting. I was just curious you know, as I had heard Owen mention Joey in the commentary on Wedding crashers ( as mentioned), and read some various brief comments as to Andrew being married and Owen's nephew, but no one really ever said anything too much. I am a very curious person, LOL. And it seems like Joey must be close to his uncles. I had read that story about Owen falling through the ceiling..LOL. Owen said that was where the idea of Dupree doing it came from! |

Hi Lavender. I'm curious too; for instance, I'm curious as to how Andrew and Ngono met each other. Where and what were the circumstances. Maybe through a legal transaction?
