I finally saw You Kill Me today. Anyone else seen it?
Luke plays a toll-booth attendant at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Luke is also the AA sponsor for Ben Kingsley who is the leading character. The movie has the look and feel of an independent film - which it might be. Although it didn't "grab" me, it is a likeable film, and all the actors do a great job. Luke is, as usual, delicious.

I really LOVED this movie! I thought it was very funny, and very, VERY well acted, especially Sir Ben. It was a kick in the pants to see Bill Pullman in that type of role, after seeing him as a handsome hero in other movies - he was an excellent sleaze-ball. Luke was great, too - very natural and not forced, great lines and facial expressions. Tea Leoni was weird as usual (I like her alot, but is she always the same girl in every movie? ) This is exactly the kind of black comedy I enjoy!

Remi, reading Syl's and your comments made me like this movie even more. I really loved the way Sir Ben played this role. The character was so ironic. And really, is there anything Sir Ben doesn't play well? Not that I've seen! He was devastating in The House of Sand And Fog.
Although I prefer Bill Pullman in a heroic or romantic lead, I thought he did a great job as the sleeze-bucket. In Ruthless People, he was a moronic sleeze-bucket and, as such, was hilarious. He too is good in everything he does.
Now that you mention it, yes, Tea Leoni does seem to play the same character though, like you, I like her too.
Modified to add: The only thing I didn't like about this movie was Luke's role was too small. More Luke please!

I forgot Bill was in Ruthless People - I loved that movie! I rented this movie because Luke was in it, but I would have loved it even if he wasn't in it. It's that good!

The dialogues were hilarious, and Bill Pullman killed me. lol Loved Luke too, so sweet as usual.

Wow, thanks for the pics, Susan!
I loved Luke's expression while Sir Ben was giving his testimony before the AA. Luke was leaning forward in his chair - as in one of your pics - and looking so grave. I loved it. Love his long hair too.

I really loved Luke's hair in this. I wish he was in it more - I watched it just for him of course. #wink# I didn't know if I'd like the movie or not, but I actually really enjoyed it. I too like black comedies.
