Fergie (and everyone else who's considered it), I think "internet losers" was a term used to describe the dorks that published Luke's phone number on the net. Please don't worry...
Yes, I said dorks...

Question: Do you think he'd class us as internet losers? :::considers closing down the hair thread::: Nah, think of it from Luke's perspective. He's got strangers calling him on his private line driving him crazy. He's letting off some steam. I'd be pissed too. That's even if this story is true. As Bubbles said earlier, people can just make this stuff up and put it out there on the internet as gospel. Don't take his hair thread down.....gee whiz hasn't he suffered enough? For the love of God don't put him through any more torture. Beth, who doesn't have QT's ability to convey sarcasm and wishes there were some smart-ass sarcastic emoticons on here so people would know she was just kidding....

This is hilarious... The caller must have interrupted something "pretty important" wouldn't you say? Obviously not that important because he did answer the phone! If this is true or not, I could totally see Luke doing this.

Well, I certainly don't believe everything I read on the Internet, but poor Luke could have done that! Can you even Imagine how many times his phone must have been ringing??
And Fergie, Luke would never, ever say that about his fans - just re-read all the articles he's done about treating others with respect - IF it happened, well, he's just human........
Now, Imagine if you will, if one of us had called him (which we wouldn't - we would not abuse that awesome power and invade his privacy) but just Imagine..............we would come on here and be like
OMG!!!!!! I just spoke to Luke Wilson!!!!!!!!! And he said &&Y*&(*&(&(*&(*&!!!!! and his voice was so beautiful!! And then he yelled that I was a (*&(()*)(*(*&&^%&^() and I ust couldn't believe I got to talk to him!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL!!

Curiosity isn't an excuse to call someone who isn't expecting your call. It's bothersome, IMHO. That guy totally deserved it. If this is true, I don't see anything wrong with Luke screaming at him.
Whether or not he made it up, I don't know. Just a note, my friend said the caller here was a guy. I think Luke wouldn't be mean if it was a girl, I mean, I don't see him screaming and cursing at a woman.

sorry to post so late (i've had a very hectic day)... L2D, my friend sent this to me. She found it on the internet. I hope it's ok to post here. Before you yell at me, let me say I DO feel bad for Luke that people called him but this story made me laugh so much. He was very mad but I think he's so funny. I'm glad the caller still liked him and understood why he was mean. "I called Luke Wilson earlier just to see if this was real or not and he answered and said "Thank you for calling the Suicide line for Internet Losers". Lol. I was sorta taken aback, so i didn't say anything at first. Then he started swearing at me and sh*t. Calling me a loser and saying I didn't have any balls for not talking. I finally said "Hey man" and he said "Don't Hey man, me"! Lol. He was like "What the hell are you f**kers doing pranking me?" I told him I wasn't calling to prank him and that I did'nt really believe this was his number, but before I could get that out of my mouth, he started cursing at me again. Hahaha. It was so funny. He kept asking me why I was bothering him on a "Goddamn Sunday". I started to ask him whether I should just call him tomorrow instead. But, I didn't want to be rude like he was to me, since I honestly was'nt calling to prank him. He is actually one of my favorite actors. I sorta feel bad for him laying into me like that but I guess I can understand why he was being so mean. Oh well....Sorry Luke. " Oh, Luke. lol!!! i'd be mean too! when telemarketers (or other random people for that matter) call me, i FLIP out on them, especially when they're calling during dinner time or really early/late in the day Question: Do you think he'd class us as internet losers? :::considers closing down the hair thread::: well, we're very devoted fans and i like to think that he likes his fans!! and for goodness sake, don't ever think of closing down that wonderful thread!!! Now, Imagine if you will, if one of us had called him (which we wouldn't - we would not abuse that awesome power and invade his privacy) but just Imagine..............we would come on here and be like OMG!!!!!! I just spoke to Luke Wilson!!!!!!!!! And he said &&Y*&(*&(&(*&(*&!!!!! and his voice was so beautiful!! And then he yelled that I was a (*&(()*)(*(*&&^%&^() and I ust couldn't believe I got to talk to him!!!!!!!!!!!! lol!!! that's SOO true!! and everyone would've been like "WHY DIDN'T YOU RECORD IT!!! COME ON!! YOU SHOULD'VE BEEN PREPARED!!" I think Luke wouldn't be mean if it was a girl, I mean, I don't see him screaming and cursing at a woman. yeah, i think so too -- for some reason, he doesn't seem like the type of guy who'd do that...

WF, your imaginary conversation on this board is sooo true to life. That's exactly how it would go here! You know us all very well. L2D, I agree too. Luke doesn't come across as the type of person who would carry on & on with the swearing & cursing once he knew the caller was female. I'm making a big assumption, but it's just a hunch...

I think that it is highly amusing what was said, if it is true. If I had done that I probably would have screamed at him for yelling *thinks*................. perhaps not. My sense of humour may have kicked in by then and I am sure I would have blamed Fergie for it all............... "Suicide line for Internet Losers..............."
Just a second thought here - Funny WF, I love your imagination Fergie, did you really lose your temper? BP, nice of you to reappear..........hello........... You all yakked a lot while I was sleeping........................
If Luke has said Internet Winners then he would have been referring to us. He lost out on Paris having his phone number.................(I feel like I shouldn't have posted this. Blame it on Australia's hot weather if this sounds nuts...........)

Curiosity isn't an excuse to call someone who isn't expecting your call. It's bothersome I agree and it wouldn't take more than four or five strange calls before the average Joe realizes that something is wrong, turns off the cell pnone and calls his wireless company and swears at them!!...duh! Wish I worked in "customer service" for his wireless company- I turn that tirade into an invitation for dinner.... HurlT[/b] ;D

Oh, yeah! As you're sitting next to him, you can whisper in his ear, "Can you hear me now?" OK--bad joke! I couldn't resist! I would think once you know your number is out there, you would be extra careful answering your calls. I know if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it. HT--Thanks for giving me a good fastasy to get me through the day . . . working for Luke's cellular company!
