*sigh* Can I all join you in America? At least I have a better chance of seeing him there than in Australia.

I saw this in the latest US Weekly. I don't think it's posted anyplace else, but if so, I apologize.
Luke Wilson mingling with Anthony Kiedis and Michelle Rodriguez at Guy's in L.A.

This from Page Six New York Times:
"February 27, 2005 -- HARRY Dean Stanton is no fan of hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas. The 79-year-old actor, who moonlights as a singer and guitarist for his eponymous lounge band at Hollywood clubs, was outspoken in his distaste for the party band during their concert at a Vanity Fair pre-Oscar bash Thursday night at the newly reopened Roosevelt Hotel. "This isn't music!" Stanton was overheard shouting over the Peas' funky din to a pal. "This is terrible!" Others who endured the Mariah Carey-like vocal histrionics of the group's sexpot girl singer Fergie included Ozzy Osbourne, Luke Wilson, Willie Nelson, Rocco DiSpirito and perennial party fixture Fabien Basabe. "
Remember Harry Dean Stanton in TBB - just a small scene with Willie Nelson, Morgan Freeman & Owen.

I was just watching Extra's Vegas Confidential and they are talking about hot things to do and see in Las Vegas. They were talking about "Hollywood heavyweights" that go to Light at Bellagio..... and they showed our guy Luke! He looked good.

Yes, I'm planning a pilgrimage to Bellagio while I'm in Vegas. The Wilsons apparently show up there a lot since a lot of photos of them in Vegas seem to be taken at Bellagio.

From defamer.com (which is a site, by the way, that should be held under great skepticism)

Poor Media Abused Luke- He certainly can't win... First the guy is lambasted, shelling out bucks on cell phone minutes, chewing people out at length for silly curiousity calls, mindfully using the "f' word as freely as a longshoreman on a Sunday no less... Then conversely...He's so cheap that some chick is buying his lunch and he can't even sweat without the "clammy" criticism... Sometimes eating lunch out of a can of Hormel chili at home must have more appeal than dealing with the crazy media blitz... HurlT-

ok that is funny because the last time i saw him and a girl they were at peets..and she paid for the coffee as well. i do recall hearing people poke fun at him for being "cheap" (the same night the crotch thread thing was being discussed) hmmmmfff. i think that being "cheap" can be cute, well if youre luke wilson and the girl, if it was the same one from peets who i thought was soundis but have since stand corrected it was NOT her they just look similar i guess) she for sure LOVED the attn she was getting vicariously via luke. **itch xo

Well, I just don't see the big deal in the woman paying. I've argued with people before to let me pay for things. That's just the way I am. I don't mind paying. I mean, not for the whole place, but for the guy I'm with or couple of people I'm with, not a big deal. I know this emoticon has nothing to do with what I said, but I just wanted to use "the Sponge." Ok... that didn't sound right, did it?
