Boyd Gallery opening 2002

These are some old photos from the Boyd Gallery opening (Fall 2002) in Dallas. The link to the party has been removed from their web site. Don't worry when I first discovered these pictures, I looked at each photo from the party with a magnifying glass to see if any of her boys were in attendance. There was no photographic evidence that they were at her opening - but that does not necessarily prove they weren't there. I hate that I didn't download more pix at the time though.

Thanks Librarian! Laura is a very striking woman you can really see aspects of Luke and Owens looks in her.

Do you happen to know who the young man is with Laura in the first picture?

I think in late 2002 both Luke and Owen would have been working on movies and Andrew may have been in Hawaii too as he was also involved in filming The Big Bounce, but I'm sure they must be very proud of all she has accomplished! Rock on Mom

Well, at least we got a chance to see Owen from the pic hanging on the wall.

Originally there were around 30 pictures from this party. The guy inthe picture seemed to be either someone from the gallery or another artist. I remember thinking at the time he was the artist that did the posters behind them. Although I don't remember why I had deduced that at the time.

Thanks Librarian I hope I look half that good at that age. She really doesn't look 60+ does she?

I'm really looking forward to the book "Making Movies" but I think it will be another 18 months yet too long.
