The Orange County Emergency Services Center was playing Mission Control last week.

The cast and crew for the film "Ad Inexplorata" were on location at the center in Goshen on Thursday. That cast included Mark Strong, Sanaa Lathan and Luke Wilson, who is pictured above with Orange County Executive Steve Neuahus and Hudson Valley Film Commission Commissioner Laurent Rejto.

"Ad Inexplorata," directed by Mark Elijah Rosenberg, is about an astronaut heading to Mars. The production used more than 60 extras last week, including Orange County Emergency Services technicians, at the "Mission Control" shoot, according to the Film Commission.

I always prefer him without a beard. Scruff, maybe. This was the first I was hearing about it, but I know he was in mexico recently scouting locations. I thought that was for something of his own though. We shall see.
