So....what are the chances of their still shooting in Paris on, say, August 10 and 11th? and where? Would that not be totally awesome to see Owen while I'm in Paris???

SLD - You probably know about this website. It looks to me like it only lists shooting schedules in the US, but I did notice that they respond in comments to people and seem helpful. Maybe you could email them. www.onlocationvacations.com/Someone else will probably know more, though. Have a fabulous time in France! Seeing Owen would definitely be the cherry on the Parisian sundae.

I would love to see some of the filming especially as I'm only 2 hours away from Paris but then again Owen only spent a month in Canada and we don't know how long he'll be in Paris. Some scenes have been filmed close to the public and someone managed to film a bit of Owen and Carla Bruni's scene without security pouncing on them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvLO5k94aK0

So SLD, you're going to Paris?? OMG, color me green with envy. ;D
You must tell us all about your trip when you get back.
Totally random: I'm confused. I thought MIP was to be set in the 1920's. So what's with Mrs. Bruni-Sarkozy in the jeans? Is that how women dressed in the '20's? And Owen doesn't look particularly 1920's either. Maybe it's going to be set in two time periods, 1920's and contemporary - like Alex And Emma?
Just sayin'.....

I inquired at that site Cookie. We'll see if I get a reply
Yes, going to Paris, well we'll be spending more time in Germany and a couple nights in Paris. Leaving next Tuesday.
Will take lots of photos. I almost always post them on FB

Texasgal, I had that same question earlier, and someone answered about what you are thinking...that there will be flashbacks between time periods, with Owen's character set in a more modern-day period. I'm loving the pictures of Owen on the set of this movie. Really, really adorable IMHO. Here's one with O and Garcia. What a great relationship those two have. I just love how Garcia is rarely on a leash but it's never a problem--he sticks really close to Owen. So adorable. www.okmagazine.com/2010/07/owen-wilson-works-with-woody-allen-in-paris/owen-wilson-july-29/

Ah, thank you, Nala. Flashbacks answers it. It's possible women did wear jeans in the 20's but I'm sure they would have been strictly ranch girls and worn only on the ranch. Yes, that's a sweet pic of Owen & Garcia. Thank you! Love Owen's too-long bermudas, almost long enough to be below-the-knee knickers *grin.* And are those the same black flip-flops we've seen on him for years? ;D Yes, Garcia is very well-trained. I've not seen him on a leash in a long time, just that one time with Owen on the skateboard. Edited to add: Oy, und Deutschland auch? Well, I can't wait to see all your photos!

I am so excited about this movie - the cast looks amazing in all the photos we're seeing. I bet it's a pain having paps taking pictures, but I have to say it is fun to see the process a bit!

I love the video footage and wish we had got more pictures from Owen's other films like Hall Pass but litte from there. Zimbio has lots more pictures too. Carla Bruni, strange choice and strange face but I won't be rude as the British press have already said plenty. Can't see what she could add from her cameo apart from the extra pubicity.

I love the pictures we've been seeing of the filming. He and Marion look so romantic together. Carla has apparently had a lot of work done, but I will say it seems to have settled nicely over the last few months and I think she will probably look her part in the film itself. I love the pic of Owen and Marion kissing! And they were filming in the Rodin Museum Gardens, what a great setting! www.paris-walking-tours.com/gardenoftherodinmuseum.htmlWhen I was little I loved The Kiss. My parents had a smaller version of it that used to be in our living room, then my mom noticed I was staring at it a lot and she moved it to the basement; and not just to the basement, up high on an I-beam behind a water pipe. It was like true love was in sight but forever out of reach!

I thought the video was very interesting. I have heard that there is a lot of 'hurry up and wait' on a movie set and you can see a little bit of that in the video. And Owen's PA standing off to the side ready with a water bottle. How do I get one of those? :)
I loved the chemistry between Owen and Rachel McAdams in the Wedding Crashers so I am happy that they have reunited for Midnight. It is an exercise in patience to wait until these films make it into theaters, isn't it? I want to see this movie NOW.
Well, I guess Middle Men will give us our Wilson fix for the short term. Hooray!
