The big bounce is my fav owen movie after bottle rocket but many ppl do dislike it. I did quite enjoy The big year from the middle onwards just not the first half. Hope everyone else enjoys or enjoyed it

I watched it this weekend and I liked it a lot. It was different than I expected. I think the beginning fits quite well to complete the story. I enjoyed the side story of Ruby the little bird and I was caught off guard by Anjelica Huston's character ... Annie Auklet which I liked. In fact since I watched it on pay for view we watched it twice (2 days in a row)...it kept my interest both times. I enjoyed how Owen played his character as well as Steve Martin and Jack Black. Andrew Wilson was nice to see too in this movie. I think the whole cast did quite well and fit the story well. I do not think it would be easy to make a movie about "bird watching" overall but this one was well done.  |

I finally was able to watch this movie as well. I liked it a lot. It's definitely a bit of a departure from Owen's usual stuff. - agree with you iluvtexas, it wouldn't be easy to make a film on bird watching, but I think they did a great job.
Andre was in it just a bit, but he was super yummy for what screen time he had.
