Um, well, I expect to be "odd girl out" here but I don't see why it necessarily has to be an either/or situation. I'm one of those low-brows who quote Dumb And Dumber. I also appreciate Shakespeare at Stratford-on-Avon - in Canada or England. To me, it's not a contradiction to move from one end of the entertainment spectrum to the other. Maybe Owen just likes the F Brothers and liked the silliness of this movie. And maybe my tastes are way too broad. ;D Granted, The Big Year looks to be a more sophisticated and mature plot and script and better age-suited for Owen. But Hall Pass can be enjoyed for its laughs and Owen-ness. I'm sure that's what y'all are saying, and I agree. P.S. My pc is giving me grief tonight, and this message may have posted twice. SORRY!

Well, Sabina, I guess Owen's strategy is a good one. With his next three releases everyone will be able to find something they like.
And good Lord, I did not mean to insult the Dumb and Dumber crowd. As I said, half my friends are Lloyds and the other half Harrys. You are welcome to come hang out with us, just bring your powder blue tuxedo.
And remember, "life is a fragile thing, Sabina. One minute you're chewin' on a burger, the next minute you're dead meat."

I love dumb and dumber which is really silly,so my commment was rather silly.Hey i just booked disney world for 2 weeks next summer for me and my lil sister, i`m 34 she`s 28..So i`m quite a silly billy really..I`m gonna find dumb and dumber online i haven`t seen it in 15 years, and i watched it over and over then..Although i like silly movies, i hate the ones with men acting out there mid life crisis..Anywho i`m watching inception for the third time after falling asleep twice ,leo and tom hardy r super fit but i`m getting so lost in the plot,i`m gonna start it over again. I`m so impressed with leo`s career his last 5 movies r amazing..Tom Hardy is gonna blow up big time, although in the Uk he is concidered one of our best..Althouth i love many actors i do love luke and owen all because of bottle rocket.Well i`m a luke fan really but owen is good also. So thanks i`m gonna watch inception and dumb and dumber and the housework can do itself,lol..I have a little thing where i watch two movies together,15 mins of one then 15 mins of the other. strange i know but i can`t watch one movie at a time. Thanks cookie you`re quite delightful on this forum

Locke - How did I miss your post? I am quite impressed that you can watch two movies at a time. I read several books at a time but movies? No way! My pea brain would be scrambled. You be smart, girl!
I see about two movies in the theater a week. (Oh, yes I do!) When I saw Inception my eyes were positively glued to Tom Hardy. He has 'it'. I will be following him for sure and cannot wait to see what he can do on the big screen.
I saw Bottle Rocket for the first time last spring and IT WAS ON. That is what brought me here because those Wilson Bros popped right off the screen into my heart. I was into Wes and I appreciated the brothers in all of the movies they did with him but Bottle Rocket tipped the scales and I went rabid. And no, penicillin has not helped one bit.
P.S. - No matter what, I will be first in line to see Hall Pass or any movie with a Wilson in it.

Hey, no problemo Cookie & Locke! I should have added that I love a Beethoven/Brahms/Bach symphony (all those dead German dudes, lol) just as well as I love popular music. My tastes are all over the map. ;D I'm glad to see Luke's & Owen's tastes in which movies they make are as varied as mine. Mmmm.... the powder blue tux vs the orange tux. I don't think I'd look my best in either color, lol. Yep, life is fragile. One minute you're watching Dr G doing her medical exam on TV, the next minute you could be her next subject!

No, it's not just you; I don't care for the hair either. I realize it's necessary and appropriate for the role he's playing, and I suppose I wouldn't mind it if his natural hair wasn't so pretty. But I just love his long blond locks so much it's disturbing to see them missing.
Yes, I know: I need to get a life. ;D

We saw the first round of promotion at the Super Bowl and now Owen is headed down under for the movie. Any Aussies here? Go to the Premiere and represent, baby! www.hollywoodtreatment.net/blog/owen-wilson-heading-to-sydney-to-premiere-hall-pass/And speaking of babies (sort of) I guess Owen is going to be missing his. It has been a while since I had a wee one but I do not think that Robert Ford is old enough to travel, right? Or maybe they fly private which would be so much easier and less germy. LOL! I thought maybe Robert went to Dallas with Owen to visit Grandma and Grandpa but 5 weeks seems pretty young to be racking up the frequent flyer miles, so maybe not. I guess that is why God invented Skype. LOL!

Can this interview be new? Owen's hair looks short again like when he was actually filming the movie or maybe the hat is just obscuring the fabulous blonde mane? *shrugs* The post dates appear to be today and I know they have started the press junket for the movie this morning soooooo maybe the hair is still conspiring to freak me out? www.traileraddict.com/trailer/hall-pass/interview-owen-wilsonHere is the link that displays all the Hall Pass stuff. The F Bros and the various cast members mention Owen frequently so you may want to poke around for maximum Owen immersion. Ha! www.traileraddict.com/tags/hall-pass

Whew! The good Owen hair is back. Ahhhhhh. I was getting a little tense there. LOL! If you watch any of the interviews in the post above this one there was commentary by one of the F Bros as to why they changed up Owen's hair for the movie. That does not explain Jason's geeked out coiffure in this interview video from yesterday, though. Method actor, perhaps? Owen is kicking his butt in the cute department here. You better step it up Sudeikis. There is a hot Wilson boy next to you so you need to bring your A game. And oh, I have not listened to all of it but Owen talks about the baby! www.accesshollywood.com/movies/dish-of-salt-will-jason-sudeikis-and-owen-wilson-take-a-pass-on-marriage_video_1293540

Owen kept saying those two most annoying words 'you know'. I've never noticed him saying that before and I hope it's a one-off. #notlistening#
I'm still waiting for Owen to film in London, but I've got a feeling that will be a long wait.

So, Lonegazer, maybe we should start a drinking game! We could watch a bunch of Owen interviews and every time Owen says, "Like, you know..." we could take a shot. Are you down for that? Ahhh, good times on the Wilsons and Wes Forum. :) If you cannot hold your liquor I want to know now, though, because I am not holding your hair back while you hug the toilet. (Kidding! I would totally hold your hair back.) Oops. I got side tracked. Here is a little video of Owen and Jason and Owen talks more babies. Baby talk! Who would have imagined it from Owen Wilson? www.etonline.com/movies/107807_Owen_Wilson_Chats_about_Daddy_Duty/index.htmlOwen Wilson rang in the New Year with a newborn and the 'Hall Pass' actor tells ET that his daddy duties do not include sleep.
"These little babies, they keep irregular hours," Owen jokes. "This guy never sleeps." Owen Wilson's girlfriend Jade Duell gave birth to Robert Ford Wilson in Hawaii this past January.
As for whether his son will see his new comedy, Owen says Jade may put up a fight but he plans to show it to him. "I'm sure he'll have a sense of humor and it seems like a funny movie. ... So, I'm sure he'll enjoy it when the time comes."
