caraboo--Nope. If you read her tweets that is not what happened. She claims "scheduling conflict" but there is nothing--absolutely nothing--scheduled for her on her ibdb page. she most definitely *was* in Atlanta because I read many tweets of people seeing her there filming a sorority scene with Owen Wilson, and now she is off the movie (according to her). That means one thing in Hollywoodland--she was fired. She has deleted all previous mentions of Hall Pass on her twitter account as far as I can see--but it doesn't mean archived twitters don't exist (just 6 days ago she tweeted that it was freezing in Atlanta filming Hall Pass). Clearly there's a big CYA going on right now on her part.

Owen, Owen, Owen, how you worry me sometimes.

The Amanda Bynes tweets about Hall Pass do seem a bit shifty. She's either been fired or has finished filming and is just trying to build up a story for herself.

I haven't seen any close ups yet of Owen either filming Hall Pass or out and about in Atlanta.

This is the only picture I've seen of Owen so far from the Hall Pass set, which is surprising since there are so many extras involved. Owen's making a lot of movies but there's a long wait before we see his completed ones, like December I think for two completed last year (not including Marmaduke). #sigh#

I was in Atlanta in March and part of April. I went down to Buckhead where they were filming in the Mexican Restaurant but it was snowing and I didn't want to stick around all day by myself and maybe not even seeing Owen. I did get pictures of the trucks and cameras. I had breakfast next door and saw a lot of people walking back and forth. It was exciting just knowing I was next door to where they would be filming.

Owen sure is a busy man lately and is really staying out of the press. I can't wait to see some of his new movies.

I found also this link from the 19th where one of the posters told about someone they know who's said she's been Owen's girlfriend for about a year, she lives in Virginia but visits him every weekend. This woman seems to be quite a talker if this poster is to be believed as she has revealed quite a bit of information to her friends and on Facebook including her holiday plans which tie in with Owen's work and homes etc. I have seen on Twitter that Owen has been to Viriginia, including last week so it may be true.

I agree with one of the posters that Owen is usually very discrete so I don't know if he knows about all this chitchat or if he cares, I suppose it's all it's part of the Facebook generation.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer but I'd read that stuff about Owen with a grain of salt. Seems to me that a real girlfriend of Owen wouldn't be spilling on Facebook or Twitter or any other publicly accessible source. All his previous girlfriends have been tight-lipped about their relationship with him (to the best of my knowledge) as he has about them in return. Everyone always hates my skepticism, and it's harmless to have fun with whatever one reads. There's no way to dispute these reports but I wouldn't put much stock in them either.

I just went to that link and read all those comments. I guess I have to agree with Texasgal that pretty much everything talked about is publicly-available information. By the way, maybe I missed it but is there a link to the facebook page they keep referencing? I'd like to check it out to see if I can get a further sense if it's a bunch of BS.

The person who posted about this originally said that after watching the youtube video of Owen at the Phoenix live event, he was with the same girl who'd been talking. It's a dark video but someone's pointed Owen to be the bloke in the baseball cap. Your eyes might be better than mine.

I actually would like to read one day that Owen is really happy with someone because I know from reading that his character is probably similar to another of my faves, Ben Stiller. Ben's been married to Christine Taylor for years and I'm sure they've had difficulties but Christine must know Ben's moods very well by now, for worse or for better! I'd like Owen to meet someone who'll be understanding and not take the down moods personally, and also give him time to himself when he needs it - and hopefully of course not one who'll be itching to do a kiss and tell story.

Thanks for posting that, lonegazer. I couldn't tell if it was Owen, but I will take the person who videotaped it that it was. I didn't see him with a girl, nor did I read any tweets that he was with a girl at Phoenix. It would be great if he did find someone and settle down (and I mean really settle down with no wandering eye, partying in bars with 21 year olds, etc.) However, I would really hate to see him taken advantage of on the internet by someone making up stories. In time I'm sure we'll learn if this "girlfriend" is real or not!

Hmm...ok, this makes sense now. I actually had seen a tweet a couple weeks ago that Owen was out at a club in ATL and someone had asked for a photo with Owen. From what the tweet said - the girlfriend was nasty to the person asking for a photo.

Thanks for the link to the video. I'll have to take the person's word for it that it is Owen in the baseball cap. I couldn't see his face well enough to know. And I couldn't see the lady's face at all so, again, I'll have to take the person's word for it that he is with a lady who is also the same lady who is claiming to be his girlfriend.

If she posts some photos on her Facebook page of herself with Owen in different places at different times, and we can tell it's the same lady, that would lend some credence to her being his girlfriend. Until then it seems suspicious to me that a real g/f of Owen would be so cavalier about his privacy. But maybe that's just me.

There is a difference between dating someone casually for a couple of weeks and being that person's girlfriend. Girl/boy-friend implies a relationship that lasts a little longer than 2-4 weeks, imho.

And there's a heck of a lot of fraud on these internet social networks.

I too would like to see Owen get serious with someone and with someone nice and stable and his own age.

WTG Texasgal.... Also thanks to all for the links and info. I watched the video and it sounds like to me someone calls out Owen's name. Did anyone else notice that?
