It would be nice if it was really Owen, but I don't think it is. Could you imagine Owen on Twitter!! I wouldn't want to ever log off. I'd cyber stalking!!  |

Oh no, that's fine, Floot. I probably read into what you wrote rather than there being a problem with the way you wrote. I think another possibility is that maybe some people feel challenged enough by life itself that they avoid having to try anything new. I don't know if that's true of Owen but it could be. He's got quite a bit on his plate sometimes. Maybe most of the time. I'll give myself as an example. Today I was standing in line ("in queue" as you folks in U.K. say ;D) at the check-out at Wal-Mart. I could have stepped to the next line which is a self check-out lane but just didn't feel like attempting it. I thought to myself This is stupid. Why am I waiting here when I could check right out over there? Someday I need to "get over it!" and do the self check-out! But to tell the truth, I just haven't felt up to dealing with it yet. I feel like I'm doing enough just to hold down my job and manage my household. I'm wondering if Owen might feel the same way. He is, after all, a little bit between a Baby Boomer and a Gen-X'er. ;D Plus the fact that maybe Owen really is self-aware enough to know that he could become addicted to the internet and he doesn't want to become a "chair potato," he wants to stay active on his downtime. For anyone to say they've never used a computer or never been on internet is a bit of a stretch anymore. Especially anyone under the age of - say - 70. (Not to imply there aren't 80-year-old internet wizards because I know there are!) I'm sure at some time or another Owen has used a computer and the internet to conduct some kind of personal business, whether to make a flight reservation or purchase of some kind. He probably means that he doesn't use the internet for fun or browsing. |

Don't believe everything you read on Twitter! In the last week, there have been multiple sightings of Owen in Maui. I believe this because of the multiple posts about it. Then, yesterday I checked and one person claimed to have seen him walking in her neighborhood in LA. Then later, a person who I gathered lives in NYC saw him there. Then, someone in Maui claimed to be sitting across from him at a table in Maui. Now today, someone is claiming their husband saw him on set in Philly! Wow, Owen--quite the jetsetter aren't you?? LOL.

The problem is that I guess you can't weed out people who are simply misinformed or mistaken when just about anyone could mention Owen in a Tweet! The mischievous part of me is tempted to Tweet and claim he has been seen in my part of the world - that would confuse people, as I live out in the sticks of rural England  But I won't ;D |

Whoever saw Owen in Maui recently might be the correct one. If we can believe the supermarket rags, I think it was the latest In Touch that posted a photo of Owen in Maui. He was photographed leaving a restaurant with leftovers in a styrofoam box. ;D (Nice to see Owen is thrifty! Also that he liked his meal that much). The caption said he'd had brunch there with his nephew. I think they gave a date of September 5.

Quite a few sightings in Maui. A few did mention seeing him on set, but he is officially wrapped. All I can think of is they are using a stand in or something for scenes between Reese and Paul where his face is not seen. Or they just assume he is there and attribute any blond head to him.
