texasgal, I have read so many compliments for you. I think you should have your own fan club. Goodness me don't say that about yourself...You invented the term "Wilsonette" so your staying a "Wilsonette".... SP I am not sure I follow why you so upset but for whatever reason you have I do hope you change your mind and keep your "Wilsonette" title.

Ya know, I have lurked on the boards for awhile. I dong get the dramatics . the second someone disagrees with some of you you throw bossy fits like little babies. If you have an opinion stand by it. No one here even knows you in real life. Who cares if they dint like you. this constant boo hoo hoo, I am going to leave the boards melodrama makes me think everyone on here is 14 years old. Have a back bone. Stop begging for sympathy and melodramatics. Grow up and realize the world holds many opionions that are not all black and white and not everyone judges on the same set of morals as you do in your little world

I also icredulius about the ignorant steriotype. What a horrible reflection on you to make such generilize comments about an entire nation. It makes me think you have never been outside your small town in your life. Um sorry this is mean but I hold my tougue too long. you are very mean and small minded to make such comments about ALL French and anyone who chooses to live. I also think you mistake shyness and polite manners for snobby

In more Fantastic Mr. Fox news...
Tristan Oliver responds to the recent articles in the press
"As the villain of the piece let me just say this: Don’t trust everything you read in the press. I have the utmost respect and affection for Wes and we had a good working relationship on Mr Fox. It pains me to see people attacking him and assuming that I was out to get him. I made a couple of careless flip remarks which if heard across a dinner table, wouldn’t have batted an eyelid. I stupidly made a couple of ill advised throw away remarks at a press junket and these have been decontextualised and refined into hard black and white print causing a furor that never existed. They were refined, honed and once in black and white, made me look like a back stabber. Nothing could be further from the truth. The LA times piece is poorly written and lazily takes a short cut to scandal.
Yes, working with Wes can be frustrating but that is true of any director. I’ve worked with a hundred who were more irritating and less motivated than Wes, but that’s movies. Its the job. So let’s just lay the ghost of this particular myth. " Tristan Oliver. ******************************************************************* Once again, if you are interested, please watch this very cool and interesting vid showing exactly how Wes directed the sometimes 25 different stagings and filmings going on at the same time via remote and understand like Allison Abbate said:
“Mr. Fox’s” unflappable producer Allison Abbate is a veteran of many stop-motion productions, including Selick’s epochal “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and Tim Burton’s Oscar-nominated “Corpse Bride.” She pointed out that it wasn’t unusual in the genre to issue directions from off-set.
“Tim wasn’t here that much during ‘Corpse Bride,’ ” Abbate said at Three Mills Studio last spring. “He doesn’t need to be. Making stop-motion is like watching paint dry.”

Marnie, it would help if you would identify to whom your comment is directed. I think a lot of misunderstandings occur because readers don't know to whom a posting is directed unless specified. So would you kindly show a backbone yourself ( ;D)and specify just whom are you saying is acting like a 14-year-old? Iluvtexas, thank you very much for your very kind words. I don't feel like I deserve them so I appreciate them all the more. #hug# SP, I hate to see you go. What's this about not being a Wilson fan anymore? I hope I'm not being too nosey but may I ask what happened in Feb 09 to make you change your mind about them? It's OK with me if you aren't a fan anymore; if you're not interested, you're not interested. But please do keep in touch and keep us updated on all your news. Tinalouise, thank you very much for your contribution of the texts and video.

SP, I hate to see you go. What's this about not being a Wilson fan anymore? Well, something about Owen dating Kate Hudson (yet) again, the Australian Open and the start of The Tudors... I still "love" the boys. I'm still fiercely loyal...just no more "owie dreams"...I'm just not into Owen anymore... I'm still here and I still love you guys ....you'll have to work extra-hard to get rid of me...I'm not going anywhere... Marnie, you can relax...I think we've sorted everything out ...back on topic... I love, love, love the promos of TFMF!!! I just can't wait!!!

The board has been an interesting place today. First, someone links to a blog where someone goes into excruciating detail about how they were trying to get a look at Luke's willie in a public restroom (which really had me laughing) and now Marnie getting so bent out of shape. Holy cow. At any rate, I read something on twitter that there will be a presser of some sort in London tomorrow for TFMF. I wonder which of the actors will be there. Owen has been kind of on the down-low lately and that always worries me, but I'm just a natural worrier. Maybe its nothing but him hanging out in Maui where there aren't a lot of paps.

I'm a worrier too. I thought Owen was filming a new movie now despite the fact that he's not been reported to have been on set yet. Maybe he's not needed at the moment and is taking a vacay while he can. Didn't he just finish How Do You Know recently? And I didn't know he was a voice in FMF.
