My DVR and VCR are both set AND I'll be watching. My family has been forewarned I'm not to be bothered between 8-9 tonight unless somebody's hurt or the house catches on fire. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the show will be positive. I know they'll comment on the August incident but hope they don't make it the focus.

Lom, do you have a TV Guide type website that you can use to do a search?
Good news WF and any other Canadians! It's showing on Saturday, April 19 at 10pm! #cheerleader#
I also checked Germany, France, Italy and Australia and nothing is listed yet.

I'm so glad I remembered that it would probably be shown one hour earlier here in Central Standard Time zone. Unfortunately, I didn't think of it soon enough and missed the first 7 minutes. I probably missed some of their childhood. Great show. I hope the other ladies will be able to see it eventually.

Oh yes, I could watch these guys and this show again & again.
I love it how one of the commentators said these brothers will be entertaining us for many years to come, and we have yet to see the best of their abilities. Or words to that effect.

I did love all the footage... but was very disappointed by the show. I just posted this in Luke's section. I just finished watching this and loved all the footage - but was VERY disappointed. I know True Hollywood Stories are typically irresponsible TV, but this was strange because I know the Wilsons so well. I could totally see how they were getting the story wrong. They compress facts and tidbits making things seem causal when they are not. And the sensationalist narrative was just silly. And who the hell is Emily Gould, celebrity blogger? ? Their experts made me laugh. I will never forget watching an interview with Penn Jillette - he was discussing that first moment when you are watching or reading the news regarding a topic you know intimately and you have this moment when you realize that what you are reading or watching is totally off base - wrong. It makes you wonder about everything you read or watch. I knew that already about THS - but was still shocked tonight. It certainly conveyed how close the brothers are and how close they are with their family and friends. That was something they didn't get wrong...

Yes, well, sensationalist narratives are the order of the day in television and so much of the print media. I guess they're so normal I hardly notice them anymore.
Maybe it's similar to the way four-letter words have crept into TV. It wasn't always like that. There was a time not that long ago when one never heard such words used on TV.
I don't feel I know the Wilsons at all. I think I know them based on what I've read about them and watching them in the media, etc. I assume they're like or somewhat like the characters they've played but I really don't know that for sure.
Well, as you say, at least they did point out how talented they are and how close they are to each other. That much I know is true! And seeing them in the footage was absolutely delicious!

Overall, I really enjoyed the show! And I would love to give Jim Flowers, and Rudy Reese a big kiss for all their insight and wonderful words about the boys! #kissing# I didn't like the bloggers being on there at all. But, I did enjoy the boys High School friends, and all the HS footage and photos of them! I can't believe they skipped right over S&H even though they seemed to show premiere footage. Weird. And what they said about the character "Ned" from TLA was all wrong. They seemed to cover the basic facts and sugar coat them. Nothing really new. It was still a nice, positive show, though.

Yes, I enjoyed it too. I really wasn't looking for hard facts that I didn't already know from what I've read. I guess I was just looking for a summary with lots of yummy footage. That's pretty much what I expected and what I feel I got.
I guess, honestly, I'm just embarrassed to learn my Wilson knowledge is so lacking that I missed what Librarian caught. I guess I'm not the Wilsonologist I thought I was. Good for you for having such a sharp ear and keen mind for facts, Librarian!

I posted the following in Luke's section. Natalie, It airs again today at 11AM Eastern / 10AM Central. And it will air over and over and over again... Maybe my reaction last night was a bit intense... I just felt that these were the implied take-away points - * Why Life Aquatic was not successful - Owen did not co-write it. * Why Luke doesn't date famous women - he was DEEPLY scarred by his break up with Gwyneth... * Owen attempted suicide because of Kate... * TWBS was mysteriously a big flop * Even though they deny it, Luke "would have to be" bothered by Owen's success - particularly Wedding Crashers. Why these bothered me... * The Wilsons learned a long time ago to not reveal anything about themselves to the press. So we really don't know anything - to be honest. * Wes Anderson's films stand on their own - each one stands on their own and shouldn't be compared to his other work (I know that is a futile stance). He is an amazing film maker of our generation and the critics have always seemed to resent him for some bizarre reason. * We know that Luke was affected by the break up with Gwyneth - in fact we have speculated that is what he was referring to in the Old School commentary. But to state that is the reason he hasn't dated famous women... what??? Maybe it is because he hasn't met one worth dating. It also presupposes that famous men only date within their own ilk of other famous people. * We have no idea what was going on with Owen last year - enough said about that... * To not mention the production scandal around TWBS when stating that it only made back $127,000 of the 8Million budget is irresponsible. * They just stated that Luke doesn't like to date famous women - why would be want to be a huge star - hugely successful. They can't have it both ways. We only have what Luke has said in the past - that he is VERY proud of his brother and looks up to him. I did like that they conveyed how close the family is and how loyal they are to their friends. To me that was the big story here - not the sensational dating lives of Owen and Luke... And I loved how much screen time Andrew got. I just don't think there would have ever been a "True Hollywood Story" if certain events had not happened last year. The Wilsons are for the most part a happy Hollywood story. So there you go! Of course I am going to tape it at 10AM - I'll watch it over and over again and study every nuance. So I am very grateful to !E for producing this hour long feast for our eyes.
