Thank you for posting the update, owenfansince96!
Someone at another board said that the fact he was transferred to Sinai might be a sign that he is still in serious condition; but I really hope it might just be that Cedars is more private for him (bigger hospital, more security staff).
I posted your message Texasgal at IMDB! I just hope that the thread stays at the top. The message from the person you mentioned, the natashafatale, that was a lousy message. It was not from me or anyone else present here as far as I know.
I did respond to the person above that post, who was hopeful that the sources of this story were lousy sources. I still wish it would all turn out to be completely false, but with more news (like Luke at Cedars) it seems to be more real with each minute.
Take care and goodnight to you both!

Thanks so much for posting my message for me, Sugar Magnolia!
I hope I'm wrong and you're right but I've got a bad feeling about Owen going from St. Johns to Cedars Sinai. I don't know what kind of facilities St. John has to offer but Cedars Sinai is a major acute trauma center. I'm worried that might mean his vital signs are still not as good as the physicians would like them to be. But maybe it's just like you say: Cedars Sinai is better equipped to care for celebrities because it seems like that's where they all go when they need emergency hospitalization.

I know what you mean, the Cedars move is worrying. I guess it is the best and the most advanced, for a variety of things that might still be wrong. We probably have to be glad he's there with all the most up to date advanced care (if he's still in trauma/emergency room style care.) Maybe they needed to pump his stomach, maybe he had lost a lot of blood, maybe they had to administer some medication to bolster his heart and lungs after he had taken some sort of depressant or opiate derivative medication. I just want him to be okay soon.

Sure wish his prognosis could be publicly revealed. And I wonder if he's even conscious or semi-conscious. I wonder if he's on a respirator.... I wonder if he's receiving blood transfusion... We have no idea what to expect to learn come morning. If we're this much on pins and needles, I can only imagine how his family must be feeling.

I know what you mean, texasgal, it's so hard not knowing and wishing for the best. And I keep second guessing things I wish I had said or done before, or worrying about being to harsh when I was trying to be funny before... oh I just hope he'll be alright.

Sugar, if it's any consolation, I have no recollection of you posting anything inappropriate here.

Thank you, texasgal. Just so sad. I really hope he knows how much we care about him, no matter what. Entertainment Tonight says that they have footage of Andrew and Luke at Cedars and it will probably be aired in this evening's shows. I can't believe they would be so crass as to bother the family now, but that's how the papparazzi are I guess. www.etonline.com/celebrities/news/49762/

Yes, it is crass but that's part of being a celeb, I suppose. Robin Gibb was photographed leaving the hospital after his brother, Andy, had died there. And photos of the two surviving Bee Gees were taken at the funeral of Maurice Gibb.
I just hope the crisis will be over by the time these photos of Luke & Andrew air tomorrow. If they have to be broadcast, let them be broadcast with a photo of a recovered Owen leaving the hospital with them!

Definitely! A recovered Owen on his way out of the hospital, feeling better and knowing we love him. That sounds good to me too.

Dang! I can't sleep at all. I might as well shower and get dressed and go to work NOW! The bosses probably wouldn't even care. They only want the work to get done.

ogh, my god!!! i just read the news. Poor Owen, i hope he gets better soon and recover nicly. Also you guys scare me with your musing to the hospital change.
I have a heart time beliving the suicide, it just doesn't fit with the picture I have of Owen. I really really hope this isn't true.

Airria, I am sorry my speculating scared you. We had concluded in a pm that maybe the first hospital didn't have the right equipment to handle a drug emergency. Not all hospitals are equal. Because of cutbacks in funding, not all hospitals have ER's. Some hospitals never did have an ER and are mostly for non-emergency care. But Cedars Sinai has a very good ER. That might be all that can be said about it at the moment.

Double posting...
Let's all hope & pray Owen won't be hospitalized long enough to receive cards & gifts. But just in case he is, I looked up Cedars-Sinai in Mapquest:
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center 8635 W. Third St. #795W Los Angeles, CA 90048
I bet if we send cards to Owen c/o C-S, they will get to him.
(Any Los Angelenos here that can tell us what the #795W means?)
