This is a few months old but we need more Wes here so who cares? Is Wes Anderson aging because if he is getting older I cannot tell. I wish I knew his secret. I love Anjelica and Waris, too. It makes me happy that these cool, creative and amazing people hang out together. I want to be their friend, too! Pssst. Hey, Wes. Call me! We can do lunch. www.style.com/peopleparties/parties/scoop/newyork-092910_Evening_For_Marrakech/

It makes me happy that these cool, creative and amazing people hang out together. I want to be their friend, too! My sentiments exactly. Seems like everyone in the Wilson Circle is cool. Mom & Dad Wilson are cool. So are Bill Murray, Ben Stiller, Jason Schwartzman and Rick Rubin. Wish I was in this circle - even if only on the outermost orbit! That in itself would be so cool. And oh man, it would be so cool to go to Morocco. My parents visited there in 1971 and had an awesome time. Unexpectedly discovered quite a community of British ex-pats living in Tangier. Who knew? Yeah, Wes succeeds in holding onto his youthful looks. It's either great genes, a healthy lifestyle.... or he's got a portrait of himself stashed in his attic that's looking not so young. ;D Off-topic but I take it Waris is Sikh?

Sabina - I love everyone on your cool list. And you are correct about Waris! Here is his wiki page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waris_AhluwaliaHis jewelry line is marketed under the name House of Waris: House of Waris is a small collection carefully hand-crafted jewels designed by the artist Waris. On a quest to preserve the methods of the Old World, Waris spends his time between New York, Rome and Rajasthan, working with the best in each city, from goldsmiths to diamond setters who once made the crests for regal families. “I create in the lands of ancient kingdoms, surrounded by the beauty of history,” says Waris. This is the only place I found that sells his pieces online. I am awfully tempted to buy the elephant as I really love The Darjeeling Limited. On the Criterion Collection version there is a sweet little extra which is the video diary of Waris (or something like that) that I thought was a nice addition. www1.yoox.com/YOOX/HOUSE+OF+WARIS/jewelry/searchResult/ene_m/4294950070/ipp/40/gender/D/tskay/3FD17CD7/dept/jewelswoman/abt/yooxmas10Now see, wouldn't it be great to have creative friends like that. I hang around with lawyers and accountants. *snore*

I couldn't open your second link, Cookie, the one for House of Waris. I did successfully open the Wiki page. I'll try googling the second link.
I'm glad Waris is so successful that he can divide his time in so many different places. How wonderful!
Do you know who the third gentleman is in the photo with Wes and Johnny, the older man with the blue shirt and scarf? I don't recognize him.*
Add these names to the Cool List: Kumar Pallana, Tony Shafrazi, and everyone Bob & Laura Wilson know. (That's where their sons got their start). OK, and add Johnny Depp too! Dozens of people could be added to The List.
Edited to add: *Sorry, that photo wasn't posted by you.
