No, but seriously, if I ever met him I would tell him about all of his devoted fans at this board and tell him he should check it out...lol. I can see that now, he would either think i was like crazy, or he would come here and post and we would never know the difference. Now THAT would be weird!!!

As I think I said somewhere on here before I ever met him I think I would be totally star struck and would just quietly perve at him from a respectful distance while wiping drool off my chin - now isn't that a lovely image to share with you all

I have mixed feelings about the Wilson's seeing what we've written. On the one hand I think it would be cool and on the other I feel many of the post are just fun stuff and kinda just for us.
But it must be so wierd to be a celebrity and have strange people know so much about you. I mean we could probably go up to Owen and start discussing any number events in his life (and probably remember it in more detail then he does because we not only read the articles/info we have on him - we study it.)

Oh that would be sooo weird. Can you imagine if someone came up to you and was telling you a story from your childhood that you didn't even remember? That would be tres bizzare. I know that Owen has said before that he isn't big big time yet, and that when people do meet him they tend to be very polite. I have read a couple of accounts of people who have met him too, who say that he was very nice to them.

I think Owen should realize the he is starting to become "big time". I think proof of that is that there are more and more pictures of Owen doing every day things (like shopping in Rome, biking with a friend). In the past you only saw a pictures of Owen at events. Yep, Owen has reached the big time. His life will never be the same.

Well I guess when I think of big time I think JLo, Britney, Brad and Jennifer. The people who can't even go to the bathroom without the press taking notes. But Owen has definitely made his way into mainstream. You know you've made it when Us Weekly puts you in their "Stars, They're just like us...." section.

The good news is that I think celebrities have a little control over how absurdly big they get. Celebrities that invite attention like Brittany Spears or Ben and Jen are setting themselves up for a life without privacy. Other stars like Harrison Ford, Robert Redford, or Meryl Streep seem to have somewhat private lives. Owen is obviously in the latter group -- not desparate for attention or publicity.
My brother lives in L.A. and works on a TV show. I visit him often. We were at the Grove one night and the Hilton sisters seemed to be literally marching up and down the center of this shopping area. It seemed like they were dying for someone to recognize them.
