Nerd here too! Been wearing glasses since I was 24 and just out of cytotechnology school.
Well, like I say, I'm not sure if that's a contact lens rim or not. If you look at his left eye at the 4-5 o'clock position, the line I'm seeing isn't round. It's straight. So it must not be a contact lens.
The mystery continues...

I'm not sure about the formal name of the shoot, but the photos were on Isifa/Getty (they are no longer there) and it was part of the promo for the Wedding Crashers. Bunny mentioned that she thought they were taken in London at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane. Owen wore the same outfit for the London Premiere of the Wedding Crashers.
