Remi: I just happen to be home at an unusual time of the day for me and thought I'd answer your question since I'm here and bored!
That photo of Owen is, I believe, from Starsky & Hutch. Though you can't see in this photo, he had headphones on and was listening to a conversation. That's why he has sort of dreamy look on his face.
And just look how white Luke's & Owen's teeth are! ;D

Texasgal - Man, you're good!! I love that look on his face! I can see the details now, the green plaid shirt, the headphones cropped off... Seems like a trend with me. I don't know what exactly I'm looking at, but it's sure not his clothes ( in other words, I hardly ever notice what he's wearing )!
BP - You did much better talking to O than I would! I once got to meet someone that I admired, and I'll I could do is smile, no words, just the biggest, dumbest smile you ever saw.

Bunnypanda, I've been meaning to ask: how big is your poster? What are the dimensions? The photos on it - where did you get them? Did you get them enlarged, or are they the original size? Anyway, it looks awesome. Just think: you will have this poster - and Owen's signature - for the rest of your life!

Linney, I hope all of the members here will be so lucky too! I really do. I honestly didn't think that poster would attract so much attention from him. I was hoping he would see it from a distance. That's why I made the letters so big ;D It really worked out in the best way. What I mean to say is, HUGE luck like that may be with any of you when you are not even expecting it texasgal, the poster is A4-sized photopaper × 12. I got the photos from this board, ItsanO's Owen board, one of BR fan sites (I can't remember which one), some site I found which had a couple of pics from S&H LA Premiere, and my own screen caps of Jay Leno show. I cut and enlarged all of the pics and printed them out. Thank you again for everyone who posted the pics I used Remi, I love Hutch's outfit at the biker bar too!!! He is sooooooo pretty there:-/

Me too! I loved Owen's Dennis Hopper/Easy Rider outfit. (Sorry - can't remember Dennis' character's name from ER. Yet another Senior Moment). That's why Owen looks so much like a natural to me if he would play a 1960's hippie/musician.

Tex - Dennis Hopper was "Billy". Owen looks/sounds so much like him, it's almost scary. I remember looking at TRT poster when the movie first came out in the theaters, and thinkin' "Owen WILSON? One day they're gonna find out that he is actually Dennis' long lost son."
He wore the Peter Fonda outfit (Wyatt) in S&H though, which I thought was a wise choice. Ben could never have pulled THAT off! We just don't see enough of the pictures with him in that outfit at the bar, off the hawg.
BP - There's something I've been dying to ask you...What did Owen smell like? I know it may sound strange, but I've always wondered if he wore cologne, or if he's a soap and water kinna guy, or if he's (God forbid) au naturale? I know he must have smelled nice, if you managed to take a whiff while he was near you. (If I were in your shoes, I probably would have forgotten to breathe, and this mystery would still go unsolved!)

Remi, Ah thanks for straightening me out. I had an Oh No moment as soon as I posted that message. I remembered I had Owen's/Ben's and Peter's/Dennis' roles reversed. I had mistaken Owen's S&H character for Dennis Hopper's, not Peter Fonda's. Ben played the Dennis Hopper counterpart, and Owen the Peter counterpart. And thanks for the name - Billy. It's that darn senioritis acting up again. Don't feel odd-girl-out for asking Bunnypanda about Owen's scent. I asked her the same thing!

Would you quit with the "senior stuff"! We can't see you! Plus, I'm right around the corner from you, I'm begining to feel old too! Your soul is MUCH younger anyways! I confess...I had to look up that stuff about "Easy Rider". I did know that he was the Fonda character though. It's confusing though, because he's more like Dennis to me. I thought I was having a 'pre-mature senior moment'! Dang, is the answer to the 'fragrance' question hidden somewhere on this board? I felt bad asking, but I feel much better now!

Ah OK, Remi.... the senior stuff. ;D I just have fun making fun of myself, that's all.
As for Owen's Peter Fonda rendition, I agree. Owen seems too laid-back & casual to not be the Dennis Hopper. Owen would perfectly suit a more cowboy/hippie guy like Billy. (A cowboy hippie? Almost sounds oxymoronic. But I think you know what I mean).
Yes, I agree they were forced to cast Owen that way because, like you say, Ben as Peter Fonda would not have worked at all. Audiences would not have seen the Easy Rider parody if Owen & Ben had been cast differently than they were.
I should let Bunnypanda answer your question herself. But she isn't here at the moment, and I am. In summary, I'm pretty sure she said that she didn't notice any particular fragrance on Owen - artificial or natural.

We can assume that if Owen is as meticulous with his overall hygiene as he is with his dental hygiene, then he's probably pretty much odor-free? Unless he has good reason not to be occasionally - such as filming an active scene in hot temps under those hot lights. Hee hee. Any scene with Owen in it causes ME hot temps! And it ain't menopause this time! Course, I've heard that Brad Pitt is not so sweet-smelling, yet his teeth look good. So we're back to where we started...

I'm sure O's scent is just as beautiful has he is! I'm gonna take it as a good thing that BP didn't smell anything. Better to be fragrance-free than be a nose-full, a la Brad Pitt.
