I Yes, Luke is typically grouchy there as often he is whenever he's caught off-guard, sometimes he smiles - usually when golfing! Well, I disagree as I do not think Luke appears grumpy in the photo of he and Andrew. I think he appears to be heading toward somewhere to play football and his expression is one of concentration. I also don't believe in his candid photos he appears all that grumpy either. But if he were to be, I think it would justified because who wants their every move followed and photographed only be analyzed and gossiped about. #rolleyes# As a "Wilsonette" sure I adore most of the Wilson brothers movies and it does not hurt that they are all very handsome etc. Seeing candid photos of the Wilson boys in their everyday life, sparks curiosity and interest....yet it must be a difficult situation to be in and I think would cause you to become very jaded about a lot of things, kind of a catch 22 situation. As an actor/celebrity you want to be successful in your chosen career and you want people to enjoy your work, you just don't want the fans to make work out of your personal life... #wink# While it may have it's perks, in many ways the trade off of being a celebrity must become very, very difficult. I think the popular interest of reality TV shows has crossed over to intrusion of a movie star's personal life. The culture now is to track everyone's every move even if they don't invite the attention to themselves. Perhaps if movie stars/celebrities were to hold a fan appreciation venue every now and then maybe, they would not encounter infringement in their everyday life. Just a thought....#wink# |

Luke at a fan appreciation venue in London! Oh yes I'd definitely be there, although I can't really imagine him ever doing something like that and there's no-one else I'd like to see.
Also, I haven't found any photos of him in London at all, no premiere or holiday photos, unless they're on this site somewhere. I know Owen has travelled quite a bit but I only remember Luke going to Scotland last year for golf, Canada and Hawaii, around the US but no London or further afield? I'm hoping he'll come over for Middle Men soon or even Tenure. Does anyone know what's happened to Tenure as it was filmed about 6 months before Middle Men but I've heard nothing since and it looks like Middle Men will be out soon.

Lonegazer, when Luke was dating Gwyneth Paltrow, he went to London with her and was seen around London. There was just one or two pics of them together in London that I recall. Gwyneth was in London to appear in a play, and I guess Luke went along with her. I think the date was somewhere around the spring or summer of 2002(?). Wish I could remember the title of the play. That's the only time I know of Luke being in London.
Iluvtexas, I agree with you. Luke may have actually been grumpy given his lack of privacy. And sometimes our faces don't always reveal how we are feeling inside. I probably look grumpy when I'm sad, tired, hungry, thirsty, sick, lonely,....or grumpy.
Success is a two-edged sword. Especially success at their level. You get lots of money & toys, lots of vacation time, and lots of adulation from fans. You also get no privacy. Your life becomes not your own.
If there's one thing I've learned in life: you don't get something without giving up something.

Great find!!! Love it!!! I bet Andrew's quite active to stay so slim, not only doing sports but I have seen photos of him fixing up an apartment in the past (the ones where they thought it was Luke). Lonegazer, that is not Luke Wilson. It's just a guy who happens to look like him.
The guy with the cell phone is Andrew Wilson.
I don't know anything about the story of them fixing up an apartment.

I knew it wasn't Luke as there are pictures of him taken the day before when he visited Owen in hospital with his dad and Andrea and he doesn't have a beard in those. And much as I like Luke's hairiness, I don't think he could grow a beard that quick, but I wasn't too sure if all the pictures were of Andrew. Never mind, whoever it was they called him 'hot' and he had a good body, bushy beard and all  |

I think that was actually one of their cousins, Uncle Joe's children, who were working on the construction back in Aug/Sept 2007. A lot of the sites that had photos of them have taken them down, here's a small one. There's a definite resemblance, but you can tell it isn't Andrew or Luke.  Updated to add, yes, Michael K at Dlisted never did get it right, it's not Andrew, it's their cousin. |

Thanks, SugarMagnolia. I think it had been determined that Uncle Joe's son is named Daniel. But I don't remember how he was identified in the photo. Did someone have a confirmed photo of Daniel with which to compare with this photo? Wasn't Daniel the cousin who appears in a film called Things To Do? Maybe the person had seen that movie and that's how she was able to ID him. Very nice to see you back here, btw!  |
