Oh thank you, Podbaydoor! That's great. ;D
Unfortunately, I didn't know about this until after the debate. Have no fear though, there is one more debate.
There are drinking games to play while watching debates. Every time a candidate says certain words he's been known to use a lot, the players take another drink.

I swear if I hear Sarah Palin say "maverick" one more time or John McCain say "my friends" one more time, I'm afraid I shall barf!

McCain didn't use "Maverick" last night. I'll tell you one thing that he does use a lot, quite regularly, "My friends". It really gets under my skin when he says that. I don't know him. I am not his friend, nor would I like to be. I was counting, but I lost track after the 18th time he said it last night. So next weeks drinking game should definitely be "my friends"
Modified to add: I should have read your post Tex! You go my friend! #beer#

I usually don't talk much about politics on this board because I don't want to cause any hurt feelings as a result. We may not share the same political views, but I think we all have a good sense of humor, right? The following is a video that I think everyone will enjoy.

Oh lord, Remi, that was SO funny. Funny because it's true! The campaign season really is a circus, isn't it? Everyone making promises they can't keep, and the government is nothing more than a front for Corporateamerica anyway. ;D

I don't know... I've totally drunk the cool-aid. Diverted Libertarian... (I won't declare converted) I have opinions and issues that are not in concert with Obama, but I CAN NOT WAIT to pull the leaver and vote for him again. In my adult life, I can not remember being so excited about anything before - to actually vote FOR someone and not against something or someone. I could write essays... but I will spare you.

That's great, Lib. It's a wonderful thing to be so enthusiastic about a candidate. I can't remember feeling that way since I voted for John B. Anderson in 1980. Both my mom and I did. I'm sorry to say I have doubts about Sen. Obama. But still, for me, he's better than the alternative. I have a lot of other doubts about the election in general (in regard to franchisement and the democratic process) but I'll keep those to myself as I've probably already said too much.

They are talking about naming a new school in Portland Oregon after Barack Obama. Just heard that on the news this evening.
