Blue, imo anything over 300 count sheets isn't comfortable. Like Owen said, it's like sleeping in napkins. 300 count Egyptian cotton is the best! Settle for nothing less! Top your mattress with a nice feather (or allergenic) topper, your new sheets, top that with a super soft micro plush blanket, and a thick but not heavy comforter, and you'll never want to get out of bed... I promise.

Ah Remi. Now I want to go back to bed. Not that I have such sheets or pillow top....but I want to go back to bed, just the same!

Sweet dreams, sld! Oh Peace, I would love it if you got your dog this Christmas!!! #praying# If I knew Santa personally, I'd definitely put in a good word for you! For Christmas, I would LOVE to have XM radio piped into every room in my house and on my outside deck... and why not, my front porch! Our radio stations here are abysmal. Santa knows, but I think the project is too big for him this close to Christmas.

SP, I'm sure you've mentioned it before, but do you have a specific breed of dog in mind?

I wasn't too impressed with Sirius XM radio...aren't they together now? I've noticed that the songs constantly repeat on the stations!
I'd love a roundtrip plane ticket and all expense paid trip to Australia and New Zealand for at least a month.....anyone feeling generous?? #lol#

Yes, it's now SiriusXM. I love that you can listen to anything you are in the mood for at any time. (I've had in my truck for about a year.) I love the channel "classic rewind". They do seem to play the same songs, but the play list is soooo long, and it's stuff they NEVER play on the radio anymore, or very VERY seldom - I love it! Natalie, I love your Christmas (or Birthday) wish!

I would listen to the 60s and 80s and 90s stations and it seemed to play the same stuff over and over again....I was just a bit surprised. I would think they would have more variety I guess!

I'd love an all-expenses paid trip to Israel. I'd also love to have a Pacifica network station set up shop in San Antonio - or else have access to an existing Pacifica station. NPR is so-so for quality news, and it does have corporate connections. Pacifica stations are 100% listener-supported so you get REAL news unfiltered.
In addition to that (and Owen), I'd like a plug-in Prius or one of those all-electric $100,000 Teslas.
But really, I have everything I need and almost everything I want. So I'm all for the peace, love, and ACCOUNTABILITY; i.e. things we just never see.
Edited to add: By the time I get to work each day, I always want to go back to bed. ;D #sleep#

This is so cool! There is a website that will allow you to sing a Christmas duet with Elvis and then send it to your friends via the internet! www.singwiththeking.com/Click on "Record with Elvis". The website will only going to be up for a short time. I'm going to try it later... after my morning vocal warm-up in the shower. ;D

SP, I'm sure you've mentioned it before, but do you have a specific breed of dog in mind? Apologies for the late reply. I want a basset hound. Or a beagle. But my heart is set on my basset, Dignan...

Ok, granted SP, my favorite kind of dogs are sold at ballparks and taste best with ketchup and mustard . . . but your devil dog photo? I don't think that's a basset hound or a beagle.
Is there any chance you might actually get a dog this year?
Remi, I think if I sent my friends clips of me singing, I wouldn't have too many friends left #notlistening#

Is there any chance you might actually get a dog this year? Its just a cute dog pic I found on the internet. I'd like to have a beagle or a basset, but beggers can't be choosers ;D I was supposed to get a dog for my next B'day, but now it all depends upon wheter the institutuion I get into is in/near Mumbai or not. *fingers crossed*
