Awww....R.I.P. Paul. He was great. His face when Judd Nelson said, "Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?" Priceless. Beth, "Wake up Missy! Whaddya think this is? A rest home?!"

Sadly Billy Preston died today. He played with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and others. I thought he also played with the Bee Gees although the article doesn't mention the Bee Gees: www.billypreston.net/

Steve Irwin died today. click meHe always said a croc would never kill him, how ironic that it was a creature known for being passive that got him in the end.

Furg, I just heard about that. At least he died doing the things he most loved. But how sad for his family.
Modified to add: Larry King Live will re-broadcast a 2004 interview with Steve Irwin tonight.

I heard it too Furg and Tex!
How sad...his children are little - one is 8 years old and the other is 3 years old. They and his wife must miss him terribly.

It has been said that he probably died instantly. I hope so and that he felt no pain. I believe I heard that his wife was in another part of Australia at the time - Tasmania, I think. She must feel so sad that she wasn't with him when he died.
We'll know more details over the next couple of days, I'm sure.

I am completely shocked too. I loved Steve Irwin and loved watching his show and when he was on talk shows. He was just so passionate and full of life. He will definitely be missed. RIP, Steve! And I really feel for Terri and the kids. He was SO young. TG, I too heard that she is hiking on a mountain in Tasmania and wasn't able to be reached. That's so sad!!!
